The Overwater Villa with Pool adds a private freshwater pool to the resort’s overwater experience. Set above the lagoon, it has a private sundeck and direct access to the water, giving guests the choice of swimming in their own pool or heading straight into the lagoon.
The Sunrise Oceanfront Villa with Pool suits travellers who would rather stay on the island than above the water. Set along the island’s edge, it looks across the lagoon towards the sunrise and comes with a private outdoor area, sundeck and freshwater plunge pool.
The Sunset Beach Villa with Pool is designed for guests who want to stay directly beside the sand. Its beachfront position faces the sunset, with direct beach access from the villa and a private outdoor area for spending more time outside.
The One Bedroom Sunrise Overwater Suite with Pool gives couples and other travellers more space while keeping the overwater setting. The suite sits above the lagoon and has separate living and sleeping areas, with panoramic views towards the sunrise.
The One Bedroom Sunset Beachfront Suite with Pool is a spacious beach-based option set along a secluded section of shoreline. It has direct access to the beach, along with a private courtyard and a mezzanine bedroom that gives the suite a more distinctive layout than the resort’s standard beach villa.
The Two Bedroom Sunset Beachfront Suite with Pool is the resort’s largest current beachfront suite and sleeps up to six guests. With two bedrooms and 365 sqm of space, it works particularly well for families or friends who want to stay together rather than booking separate villas.
At 500 sqm, the Rehendhi Presidential Overwater Suite – Two Bedroom with Pool is the largest accommodation category at the resort. Set above the lagoon, it has two bedrooms, large living areas and panoramic ocean views, making it well suited to families or groups who want plenty of shared space.
24 Degrees Restaurant is the resort’s main all-day dining venue, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Taj classifies the cuisine as Asian, with a wider mix of Pan-Asian and international flavours, including seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes.
Mediterraneo by Jeffrey Vella is the resort’s overwater Mediterranean restaurant, open in the evening. Its alfresco setting sits above the lagoon, with sunset views forming part of the dinner experience.
Mediterraneo Waterfront is a relaxed daytime restaurant and bar serving Comfort Food. The menu includes dishes such as bruschetta with prosciutto, yellowfin tuna with gremolata and Bolognese with grass-fed beef.
PERSONALIZED DINING gives guests the option to arrange a private meal with a menu prepared for the occasion. Taj highlights beachfront and ocean-facing settings as part of the experience.
Guests can order food and drinks to their villa or suite at any time of day. The service is available around the clock, giving travellers the option to dine privately without heading to one of the resort’s restaurants.
Equator Bar & Lounge is the resort’s main spot for sunset drinks. Its patio looks across the sea, with more than 200 wines and 75 international spirits listed alongside cocktails and shisha.
J WELLNESS CIRCLE is the resort’s overwater spa, with treatments influenced by Indian wellness traditions and Ayurveda. The treatment menu includes holistic healing therapies, signature therapies, Indian therapies, body rituals and beauty treatments.

Parasailing is one of the water-based activities available at Taj Exotica. It gives guests the chance to see the resort and surrounding water from above and provides a different experience from swimming, snorkelling or diving.
The resort’s WATER SPORTS programme includes both motorised and non-motorised activities. Guests can try windsurfing, jet skiing, waterskiing and wakeboarding, as well as paddling and Catamaran cruising along the reef and lagoons.

Timeless Weddings covers wedding celebrations at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives. Taj lists matrimonial ceremonies including Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet, alongside vow renewals, honeymoon experiences and photography and video shoots.
MURAKA BOARDROOM is the resort’s dedicated meeting space, set in a quiet position on the beach. The 44 sqm room accommodates up to 40 guests and can be arranged in theatre, boardroom or cluster layouts.
Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is on Emboodhu Finolhu in the South Malé Atoll. Guests reach the island from Velana International Airport by speedboat, with the journey taking approximately 15–20 minutes. Speedboat transfers are available 24 hours a day, and guests should contact the resort’s reservations team at least 24 hours before arrival to arrange airport pick-up. Malé City is also accessible for sightseeing, including attractions such as the National Museum and Sultan Park.
