The Sky Room is the upper-floor choice for travellers who prefer an elevated sea view and a private balcony rather than being directly on the beach. At 44 sq m, it keeps the layout simple and practical, with a double vanity and rain shower adding useful bathroom space.
The Beach Room keeps the same 44 sq m footprint as the Sky Room but places guests directly beside the beach. A private terrace and direct beach access make it easier to move between the room and the sand throughout the day.
The Beach Room with Pool adds much more outdoor space to the beachfront room experience. At 94 sq m, it includes a private plunge pool, outdoor terrace and direct beach access, giving guests the choice of spending time by their own pool or heading straight onto the sand.
The Beach Villa offers more living space than the standard beach rooms, with 60 sq m indoors and a private terrace facing the sea. Direct beach access, sun loungers and a lounge area make it better suited to guests who want to spend longer periods around their accommodation during the day.
The Beach Villa with Pool is designed for travellers who want a beachfront villa with their own pool. Its 113 sq m layout includes a private plunge pool, outdoor deck and lounge area, creating more space for quiet time outside the room.
The Overwater Villa is for travellers who want to stay above the water rather than along the beach. At 84 sq m, it has an outdoor deck with sun loungers and a lounging net, making the outdoor area an important part of the stay.
The Sky Family Room combines two interconnected rooms into an 88 sq m family layout. Its upper-floor position and private balcony give families more room while keeping the elevated ocean outlook of the Sky Room category.
At 188 sq m, the 2-Bedroom Family Beach Room with Pool gives families considerably more space than the standard two-bedroom beach room. It combines a two-bedroom layout with direct beach access and a private plunge pool.
The 2-Bedroom Beach Villa with Pool is one of the resort’s largest beachfront options at 226 sq m. It combines two bedrooms with a private plunge pool and direct beach access, giving families more private space both indoors and outside.
The 2-Bedroom Overwater Villa with Pool is the largest current accommodation category at 240 sq m. It combines two bedrooms with an overwater setting, private pool and spacious outdoor deck, making it the resort’s most substantial option for guests who want to stay above the sea.
The 2-Bedroom Family Beach Room brings the family layout down to beach level. At 88 sq m, it combines two bedrooms with a private terrace and direct beach access, making it easier for families to move between their accommodation and the sand.
Terra&Mar is the resort’s all-day beach restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menu takes a Mediterranean approach while also including global classics and local dishes, giving guests plenty of choice across the day.
Mr. Tomyam is a poolside restaurant and bar centred on Thai flavours. Thai classics sit alongside international favourites, with Italian and locally inspired dishes adding more variety to the menu.
Miss Olive Oyl serves Mediterranean-led food in a beachside indoor-outdoor setting. The menu covers seafood, grilled dishes, prime-aged cuts and Maldivian favourites, alongside salads, pizza, burgers and vegetarian choices.
Badhige at SAii takes a more hands-on approach to food, with an open kitchen and experiences linked to healthy cooking and locally sourced ingredients. Produce comes from sources including the resort’s organic garden and Maldivian waters.
Dine by Design is the resort’s private dining experience, with the setting chosen as part of the meal. Options described by the hotel include a torchlit private-beach dinner, dining at a beach villa overlooking the ocean and a private meal beside the pool.
Pool Bar is set beside the swimming pool, with seating around the bar, pool and sunbeds. It is an easy place to stop during the day without moving far from the water, and the setting also looks towards the ocean and sunset.
Swim Up Bar lets guests order drinks without leaving the pool. The focus is on refreshing drinks and cocktails, making it a simple choice for an afternoon spent by the water.
Gelato Bar is a casual stop for homemade ice cream, artisanal gelato and drinks. The selection also includes milkshakes, sweets, whole fruit, tea and coffee, making it useful for anything from a morning coffee to an afternoon treat.
SAii Spa is the resort’s wellness venue. Its current concept is inspired by nature and tropical destinations, incorporating the elements of sand and sea and locally sourced organic ingredients. The current spa menu includes therapeutic massages, couples’ treatments, family spa experiences and treatments designed for younger guests.
The resort has a Fitness Centre for guests who want to keep up their usual exercise routine while away. The fitness centre provides an indoor workout option alongside the resort’s outdoor and water-based activities.
In-Room Dining gives guests the option of having food brought to their accommodation rather than eating in one of the resort’s restaurants. In-room dining is available, but it is not included in the standard meal plans unless expressly stated. Guests should check the current menu, service hours and charges through the resort.
Koimala & Maalimi’s Junior Beach Club and Camp is for children aged 4–15 and uses Maldivian stories, wildlife and culture as part of its programme. It has three indoor and three outdoor areas, including a family room, activity room, playroom, private beach and nature and camping area.
SAii Lagoon Maldives has two swimming pools. One sits at SAii Beach Club in a beachfront setting, while the other is beside SAii Pool Bar.
The resort has two GZ19 padel courts beside the ocean. Private lessons, group sessions and friendly match pairings are available, so guests can take part whether they are new to the sport or already play regularly.
Beach Volleyball gives guests a simple outdoor activity that can be fitted into a day at the resort without committing to a longer excursion.
Aqua Gym offers guided exercise in the swimming pool, using the water as part of the workout.
Cooking & Cocktail-making Classes are led by the resort’s chefs and bartenders. Sessions introduce guests to ingredients, preparation methods and practical techniques for making dishes or drinks.
Ocean Water Sports & Dive Centre runs a wide choice of activities, from paddleboarding and sailing to faster jet-powered sports. The current programme includes ADVENTURE JET SKI, ESCORTED JET SKI, Yamaha SuperJet, JetCar, Seabob, X-JETBLADE, X-JETPACK, ELECTRIC JETSURF BOARD, LIFT ELECTRIC FOIL, parasailing, SUNSET PARASAILING, wakeboarding, water skiing and kneeboarding.
Diving is arranged through the Ocean Water Sports & Dive Centre, with options for guests at different experience levels. The resort offers introductory programmes for younger guests as well as open-water and more advanced diving.
The recreation programme includes several ways to explore the water without diving. Options include Discover Snorkeling, private snorkelling lessons, House Reef Snorkeling, Night Snorkeling, Adventure Snorkeling and Coral Garden Snorkeling.
SWIM WITH NURSE SHARK is one of the specialist marine-life snorkelling trips in the current recreation programme. It takes guests beyond a standard reef snorkel for an opportunity to look for nurse sharks in their natural environment.
TURTLE TALK & SNORKELING combines information about turtles with time in the water looking for them in their natural habitat.
OCEAN SIGNATURE SNORKELING is one of the specialist guided snorkelling options in the recreation programme.
WHALE SHARK TALK & SNORKELING combines an educational element with a snorkelling excursion looking for whale sharks.
The Recreation Centre runs several trips beyond the resort, including glass-bottom boat outings, sunset fishing, casting and jigging, big-game fishing, dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, a Malé city tour, local island visits and private charters.
Something Blue – Marine Discovery Centre focuses on marine education and conservation at CROSSROADS Maldives. Guests can learn about coral propagation, meet resident marine biologists and take part in conservation activities.
Meet the Maldives – Maldives Discovery Centre introduces guests to Maldivian history, culture and the natural environment. Five interactive zones include a coral reef tunnel, heritage gallery and local crafts showcase.
The Marina @ CROSSROADS Maldives is reached from SAii Lagoon Maldives by footbridge. Guests can visit restaurants and cafés, browse boutiques and artisanal shops, join creative workshops or spend an evening listening to live music.
SAii Lagoon Maldives hosts proposals, weddings, vow renewals and anniversaries. Available settings include the beachfront, The Beach Club, CROSSROADS Event Hall and a marquee, with traditional Maldivian elements available as part of the ceremony.
Celebrations & Events covers private occasions including birthdays, proposals and anniversaries. Settings include the beach, The Marquee, a dhoni or yacht and The Beach Club, while CROSSROADS Event Hall is less than 100 metres away across the footbridge.
Children can choose activities across sports, arts and crafts, giving them some freedom to shape their own programme rather than following the same schedule each day.
SAii Lagoon Maldives sits on Eh’mafushi in South Male Atoll, 15 minutes south of Velana International Airport by speedboat. Shared and private speedboat transfers are available, making the onward journey straightforward after an international flight. The resort is also linked by footbridge to The Marina @ CROSSROADS, where guests can reach additional dining, shopping and cultural attractions.
