About the hotel
Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa sits on Furanafushi Island in North Malé Atoll, on one of the Maldives’ largest natural islands. The resort has 176 rooms, cottages and villas, ranging from Deluxe Rooms and beachfront cottages to overwater villas and larger two-bedroom accommodation. Velana International Airport is around 15 minutes away by speedboat, making the island particularly easy to reach. The range of accommodation and facilities works well for couples, families and groups.
There are seven restaurants and bars, with Indian, Thai, Asian, seafood, Mediterranean and international dining available across the island. Shine Spa for Sheraton™ occupies its own small island, connected by an 82-metre bridge, and has six treatment villas and a yoga pavilion. Families can use Sheraton Adventure Club for children aged 4–12, while other facilities include a freshwater outdoor pool, diving and water sports. The Green Globe-certified resort also runs coral propagation, biogas and water-bottling initiatives.
