The SUPERIOR BEACH VILLA is the resort’s smallest villa category and suits couples looking for a simple beachfront stay. Each of the 12 villas measures 58 sq m and has panoramic Indian Ocean views, with a king bed positioned towards the sea. Soft pastel interiors keep the design light and relaxed.
The DELUXE BEACH VILLA DOUBLE BED gives guests more room than the Superior Beach Villa, with 66 sq m of space and capacity for up to four people. These private beachfront villas have thatched roofs, oversized bay windows and Indian Ocean views, with a large double bed facing the sea.
The DELUXE BEACH VILLA TWIN BED offers the same 66 sq m space and beachfront setting as the Double Bed category, but with twin beds facing the sea. It works well for travellers who prefer separate beds while keeping the same beach location and outdoor space.
The PREMIUM WATER VILLA DOUBLE BED is a good choice for travellers who want to stay directly over the lagoon. At 85 sq m, it accommodates up to four guests and has a large double bed facing the sea. Its private outdoor deck looks across the coral reef and includes space for sunbathing and dining.
The PREMIUM WATER VILLA TWIN BED offers the same overwater setting with twin beds, making it useful for travellers who prefer separate sleeping arrangements. The 85 sq m villa accommodates up to four guests, with the beds positioned towards the sea.
The NIRVANA PRESIDENTIAL SUITE is the resort’s largest accommodation and suits families or honeymooners who want considerably more space. The 215 sq m two-storey duplex has a 140 sq m ground floor and a 75 sq m upper floor, with capacity for up to six guests.
Bokkura is the resort’s beachside all-day restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu covers Continental, Indian, Pan-Asian, Sri Lankan and Maldivian cooking, so it is a useful option when guests want plenty of choice in one place. Taj also highlights local dishes including Maldivian omelette with moringa leaves and kukulhu riha chicken curry.
Open The Grill is the resort’s evening restaurant for grilled food. Set by the pool with the beach and Indian Ocean close by, it serves internationally inspired grills including seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes.

BREAKFAST AROUND HEMBADHU serves breakfast during a trip around Hembadhu Island aboard a traditional dhoni. Sparkling wine is included with the breakfast, giving guests an alternative to starting the day in Bokkura.

Guests can spend more time on the lagoon with a choice of non-motorised water sports. Taj lists kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, windsurfing and catamaran sailing, giving active travellers several ways to enjoy the water without joining a dive or snorkelling trip.
MEET THE MANTAS takes guests by speedboat towards Manta Bay, around 20 minutes from the resort, to look for manta rays when conditions allow. Taj lists January to April as the best period for this experience.
