Tamassa Rooms are a straightforward choice for couples or parents travelling with one younger guest. Each room has 43 sqm of space and a furnished balcony or terrace, giving guests somewhere to sit outside between time at the beach and around the resort.
Superior Rooms can sleep three adults, making them a more flexible option for friends travelling together or couples sharing with another adult. The open-plan layout includes indoor and outdoor sitting areas, with a furnished balcony or terrace extending the usable space.
Beach Rooms are another option for travellers who want a confirmed ocean view. Starting from 43 sqm, they can accommodate couples, small families or up to three adults and include a furnished balcony or terrace.
Ocean Superior Rooms combine 43 sqm of space with a confirmed ocean view. They suit couples, small families or three adults who want the sea outlook to be a clear part of their room choice.
Family Suites provide the most spacious family accommodation at Tamassa Bel Ombre, with up to 86 sqm and two interconnecting bedrooms. The layout is useful for larger families or groups who want to stay together while still having separate sleeping areas.
Tamassa Family Rooms are designed around the practical needs of parents travelling with children. With up to 59 sqm of space, the layout includes bunk beds and a miniature children's bathroom, while child-proof furniture edges add another useful family feature.
Show is the resort’s main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Live cooking stations and changing buffet themes give guests plenty of choice, with Mauritian, Indian, Asian, Mediterranean, Italian, Middle Eastern, Tex-Mex, seafood and international options featured.
Playa is the resort’s beachfront à la carte restaurant, with tables close to the beach and a menu influenced by Mediterranean and Mauritian cooking. International wines, local rums and classic cocktails are also available.
Burger Truck is a casual daytime option beside the main pool. It focuses on burgers served with homemade fries, making it useful when guests want a quick lunch without sitting down for a full restaurant meal.
Scoop is the resort’s ice cream parlour, located next to Burger Truck. The selection includes ice cream, gelato and sorbets, with both familiar flavours and changing choices available.
B Bar is one of the resort’s main social spaces, serving cocktails and other drinks alongside a snack offering. Guests can also stop here for afternoon tea, while live music adds to the atmosphere later in the day.
Jalsa is Tamassa’s nightclub and karaoke venue, designed for guests who want to continue their evening with music, drinks, karaoke and dancing. The hotel also identifies it as the first resort nightclub to open in the south of Mauritius.
On Mondays and Thursdays, Burger Truck becomes Rum Truck for the evening. The focus shifts to local rums and creative cocktails, with guests able to learn more about rum ageing and blending.
Santosha Mindful Wellness is the resort’s main spa, set within the landscaped gardens. It has 14 double treatment rooms, a Vichy shower treatment room, beauty treatment room, hot tub, hammam, sauna, hydrojet and a 12-metre pool.

Tamassa’s lagoon provides several ways to get out on the water. Scheduled activities include windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaking, sailing and glass-bottom boat trips, with availability depending on weather and tide conditions.

STUDIO 17 has its own programme of games, sport and fitness for teenagers aged 12 to 17. Activities include pool, bocce, tennis, beach running, fitness, table tennis, water polo, beach volleyball, yoga, cycling and giant games.
Tamassa runs an evening programme for adults and children, with local artists performing around the resort. Activities include live music, DJ evenings, karaoke and Mauritian dance shows.
