Standard Rooms suit travellers who want a straightforward garden-set room with easy access to the resort facilities. Each room has an open-plan layout, a king bed and an open-air bathroom with an outdoor shower.
Superior Room gives guests more space than Standard Rooms and comes with a sea-facing setting. The 52 sqm layout can accommodate up to four adults, making it useful for travellers who want a larger room without choosing a beach or overwater bungalow.
Beach Bungalows are designed for guests who want to stay directly beside the shore. Each 38 sqm bungalow comes with ocean views, direct beach access and a private deck, making it easy to move between the room and the beach throughout the day.
Water Bungalow is the largest accommodation category at Ellaidhoo and sits directly over the lagoon. At 79 sqm, it gives guests an overwater setting with ocean views, a private sundeck and a glass-bottom floor looking down towards the water below.
Madi Restaurant is the resort’s main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner beside the beach. The menu combines global and local dishes, making it a useful everyday option for guests who prefer plenty of choice at each meal.
The Junction is the resort’s speciality à la carte restaurant, bringing together Indian, Malaysian, Maldivian, Indonesian and Sri Lankan dishes. The menu includes curries, seafood, tandoori dishes and regional specialities.
Dinner at Lover's Deck is a private dining experience designed for couples. Guests are served a four-course meal with wines away from the resort’s main restaurants.
Beach Dinner gives guests a four-course meal served directly on the beach. It offers a different setting from the resort’s regular restaurants and is centred on private beachfront dining.
This private sandbank experience combines time away from the main island with a picnic. Guests can relax, sunbathe or snorkel during the trip, making it more than just a meal.
Private Beach Dinner is another beachfront dining option available through the resort’s official booking shop. Dinner is served directly on the beach, away from the regular restaurant setting.
Steak Dinner is a separate dining experience for guests who want a steak-focused evening meal. Guests can choose to dine on the beach, beside the pool or at another preferred location, subject to weather conditions.
Iruohsenee Bar looks out across the Indian Ocean and focuses on drinks, including cocktails. It is a good place to stop during the day or later in the evening when you want a quieter setting away from the restaurants.
Seanic Café & Bar sits beside the pool and combines casual dining with drinks. Water Bungalow guests are served breakfast, lunch and dinner here, while other guests can use the venue for à la carte food and cocktails outside those meal periods.
EYZ Bar is used for special events rather than operating as a regular daily bar. It may be used for organised resort gatherings and scheduled entertainment.
Chavana Spa offers massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, manicures and pedicures. Treatments include Traditional Balinese Massage and Chavana Massage, alongside longer spa programmes.
The Gym forms part of the resort’s Sports Centre and gives guests somewhere to continue their usual exercise routine during the holiday.
Diving is one of Ellaidhoo’s main attractions. Dive & Sail supports the resort’s diving programme, while the house reef has seven marked entry and exit points. The reef includes walls, slopes and overhangs, giving divers different areas to explore close to the island.
The house reef also makes snorkelling easy to include during a stay. Guests can join snorkelling programmes and lessons through the Diving Centre, while equipment is available to rent.
Dolphin Watching takes guests out into North Ari Atoll with opportunities to see spinner dolphins in their natural environment. Sightings depend on wildlife, weather and sea conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
Dolphin Safari is a two-hour trip aboard a traditional dhoni, with opportunities to see spinner dolphins when wildlife and sea conditions allow. A soft drink is included during the excursion.
Sunset Fishing introduces guests to traditional line fishing during the evening. It suits beginners as well as regular anglers, with possible catches including snapper, barracuda, grouper and trevally depending on conditions.
Sunrise Fishing starts early and takes guests onto the water aboard a traditional dhoni. The trip uses traditional fishing techniques and suits both first-time and regular anglers.
Big Game Fishing takes guests into deeper water for a more specialised fishing experience. Depending on conditions, target species may include sailfish, barracuda, wahoo and swordfish.
Night Fishing is an evening fishing trip for a minimum of four guests. It provides another option for travellers who want to spend time on the water after dark.
This private sandbank experience gives couples, families or friends time away from the main island for relaxing, snorkelling and sunbathing.
Dhoni Ride takes guests onto the lagoon aboard a traditional Maldivian dhoni. It is a quieter boat experience than the resort’s fishing and diving trips and is centred on spending time on the water around sunset.
Residential island tour to Hangnaameedhoo gives guests a closer look at everyday life away from the resort islands. The experience focuses on local traditions, lifestyle and heritage in a residential Maldivian community.
SandBank Trip is a two-hour excursion away from the resort. Guests can relax on the sandbank and bring snorkelling gear if they want to explore the surrounding water.
The resort’s swimming pool sits beside Seanic Café & Bar and gives guests an alternative to swimming in the sea. Its location also makes it easy to combine pool time with food or drinks nearby.
Dinner at Lover's Deck is a private experience designed for couples who want an evening away from the regular restaurants. It includes a four-course meal with wines in a separate setting.
Sports & Fitness covers outdoor and indoor activities around the resort. Guests can play tennis, badminton and beach volleyball, while table tennis, billiards, squash, darts and foosball provide more options away from the water.
Hangnaameedhoo Island Excursion is a half-day trip to the residential island, where guests can walk around and browse local shops for souvenirs.
Night Snorkelling offers a different way to explore Ellaidhoo’s house reef after sunset. The experience begins at around 6.30 pm with the Dive & Sail Maldives team and uses underwater torches to look around the reef after dark.
