Bang on Beach puts guests close to Palmar’s shoreline. The rooms sit above the white sand, face east towards the Indian Ocean and have ocean views from the balcony. The position also brings sunrise views, with the beach just steps away.
Best on Beach is designed for two adults who want more space alongside uninterrupted ocean views. There are only three rooms in this category: one measuring 38.2 sqm and two rooftop rooms measuring 47.5 sqm. Their elevated beachside position looks across the Indian Ocean, with sunrise visible from the room.
At 47.1 sqm, Pool Plus has a spacious living area alongside its sleeping space. It sits on an upper level and looks across the pool, sea and the hotel’s riad-inspired architecture. The private balcony adds another place to relax outside.
The Good Kitchen is the hotel’s main restaurant, serving à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menus change with the seasons and bring together local ingredients with wider influences, including seafood, vegetarian and vegan choices.
Tek Tek is a 10-seat restaurant built around a seasonal six- or eight-course tasting menu. The focus is on Creole cuisine, local produce and Mauritian flavours, with an open kitchen where guests can watch the chefs preparing each course.
SALT Bakery serves freshly baked breads, handcrafted pastries, home-roasted coffee and a choice of sweet and savoury treats. It opens during breakfast and again for tea time later in the afternoon.
The Rooftop Bar opens from late afternoon and looks across the lagoon. Its drinks list includes handcrafted cocktails, local spirits, wines, beers, mocktails and fresh juices, with light bites also available.
The Pool Bar is open from early morning until midnight, making it convenient for refreshments throughout the day. Drinks include coffee, cocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, mocktails and soft drinks, with snacks also available.
SALT Equilibrium is the hotel’s spa and main wellness space. It has four treatment rooms, including one double and three singles, alongside a Universal room, Hydrolounge, BodyMind retail corner and Hair Salon. The spa is also home to Mauritius’ first Himalayan Salt Room.
The Salt Room is part of SALT Equilibrium and is described by the hotel as Mauritius’ first Himalayan Salt Room. It is used for halotherapy and offers a quiet wellness experience away from the busier parts of the hotel.
The Gym is open around the clock, giving guests the flexibility to train whenever it suits them. Facilities include cardio equipment and fitness machines.
Guided snorkelling is complimentary and available daily in 30-minute sessions. It is an easy activity to fit around the rest of the day and gives guests a chance to spend time beneath the surface when conditions allow.

Cook with SALT is a hands-on introduction to Mauritian food. Guests prepare a traditional Mauritian chicken curry using homemade curry paste and local ingredients.
Raw Initiation focuses on preparing fresh plant-based dishes inspired by the SALT Cookbook. The session lasts 1.5 hours and gives guests a practical introduction to raw cuisine.
This Skill Swap experience introduces guests to soap making with Nathalie and Sarah. It gives travellers a practical way to meet local people and learn a hands-on skill during their stay.
Pottery with Janine is another Skill Swap experience, giving guests the chance to learn about pottery directly from a local maker.
This Skill Swap experience focuses on rattan basket-making with Moosbally. It offers a closer look at a practical local craft rather than a standard sightseeing activity.

An Exploration of Mystical Le Morne combines an active day out with Mauritian history. A local guide leads guests up Le Morne Brabant while sharing the story and cultural importance of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Deep within the South of Mauritius brings several experiences together in one day. Guests visit Mauritius’ oldest biscuit factory, join a guided local tour and travel by boat to Île aux Aigrettes.

Mother-to-Be Retreat is a two-day wellness programme for expectant mothers. It includes a foot ritual, Mother-to-Be massage, Himalayan Salt Room session, herb-garden walk and private beach yoga.
