The Sunset Beach Villa suits couples and smaller families who want to stay directly by the beach. Its 130 sqm layout includes a bedroom and separate living area, with a tropical backyard and a private stretch of beach just steps away.
The Beach Residence with Plunge Pool gives couples and smaller families more space while keeping them close to the beach. The 215 sqm residence has a bedroom alongside separate living and dining areas, with both the bedroom and living room opening towards a private stretch of white sand.
The Deluxe Sunset Beach Villa with Pool puts a 40 sqm private pool between the villa and its stretch of white-sand beach. Its 190 sqm layout includes a bedroom, separate living and dining areas, a spacious bathroom and a tropical garden. .
At 440 sqm, the Sunset Beach Residence with Pool gives guests considerably more room than the other one-bedroom beach options. The residence has a private infinity pool, separate living area, poolside gazebo, tropical backyard and an upper-floor outdoor terrace.
The Deluxe Beach Residence with Lap Pool gives travellers 315 sqm of space within the island's tropical gardens, close to the beach. It has a bedroom, separate living and dining areas and a private lap pool with its own terrace.
The Two-Bedroom Beach Residence with Pool is designed for families and friends who want shared living space but separate bedrooms. At 575 sqm, it has two bedrooms, a separate living area and a large private infinity pool beside the beach and lagoon.
The Deluxe Water Villa with Pool is a good fit for couples and smaller families who want an overwater stay with direct access to the lagoon. The 190 sqm villa is built on stilts above the water, with the bedroom and bathroom positioned on opposite sides of the central entrance area. Sliding doors allow the spaces to be separated when needed.
The Ocean Villa with Pool gives couples and honeymooners considerably more living space than the Deluxe Water Villa with Pool. At 290 sqm, it has a separate living room with a glass-floor section, alongside a master bedroom overlooking the ocean.
The one-bedroom Signature Beach Residence with Pool sits at North Point Beach and suits couples or smaller families looking for more space and the added services of the Signature Collection. Its 350 sqm layout has a separate living area, spacious outdoor deck and private pool, with direct access to the white-sand beach and ocean.
The Grand Beach Residence with Pool gives larger families and groups three bedrooms and 700 sqm of space beside the beach. A central living and dining area provides the main shared space, with a pantry and powder room nearby. The interiors feature Middle Eastern influences and hand-crafted furniture.
The 1,100 sqm Sultan Beach Residence with Pool is the largest accommodation at Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa. Located at North Point, it has four bedrooms plus a separate nanny room, giving extended families and larger groups much more space to stay together. Separate living and dining areas, a study and bespoke furnishings complete the indoor layout.
Families and friends who prefer an overwater setting can share the Two-Bedroom Ocean Villa with Pool. The 330 sqm villa has two bedrooms, two indoor bathrooms and a spacious living room with a dining table, giving the group both shared and private areas.
Meeru Bar & Grill is a relaxed poolside venue serving lunch, light snacks and dinner. Food ranges from wood-fired pizzas to meats prepared on the Lava Stone Grill, grilled lobster and international dishes. The Hideaway Fish Market also lets guests choose from the day's catch.
Matheefaru is the resort's main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner. The international buffet changes through themed evenings, with live cooking stations adding dishes prepared during service.
Samsara serves Asian fusion dishes with Thai, Indian, Chinese and Japanese influences. Indian and Thai dishes are among its specialities, while the teppanyaki table gives guests the option of watching their meal being prepared in front of them.
Sunset Pool Café sits beside an oceanfront infinity pool and serves lunch and dinner. Its menu combines Asian and European influences, giving guests an à la carte option during the day as well as in the evening.
Oasis Restaurant, Bar & Lounge is reserved for guests staying in the Signature Collection Residences. The restaurant, bar and lounge provide a dedicated setting for dining and drinks, with tropical greenery and poolside areas around the venue.
Private Dining Experiences allow guests to arrange meals away from the resort's regular restaurants. Options include a candlelit dinner on the beach, a secluded-island picnic, a floating breakfast served in a villa's private pool, a private beach barbecue and a seafood meal in an overwater dining pavilion.
In-Villa Dining allows guests to eat in their accommodation rather than visit one of the resort's restaurants. The lunch and dinner menu covers salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta and risotto, grilled meat and seafood, sharing dishes, pizzas, Arabic dishes, vegetarian choices and desserts.
Hideaway Spa offers a quieter part of the resort for guests who want time away from the beach and activities. Treatments include massages, skincare rituals, Ayurvedic therapies and Balinese treatments, with several treatment rooms available.
Private and group yoga sessions are available, with Hatha Yoga among the styles offered. Guests can also use the Wellness Studio inside the Fitness Center for yoga, stretching and meditation.
The Fitness Centre has equipment for both cardio and strength training, including rowing machines, treadmills and stationary bikes. A resident fitness instructor is also available to help guests with their training.
Tender Hearts Kids Club is for children aged 3–11 and offers a mix of creative, active and outdoor activities. The programme includes T-shirt painting, kids' yoga, Zumba, pizza making, kayaking, treasure hunts, sandcastle making and coconut painting.
Meridis Dive & Relax is the resort's PADI 5-Star Gold Dive Resort centre, with more than 30 dive sites reached within 60 minutes by dhoni. Dhonakulhi reef lies around 10 to 30 metres from shore, while Heaven and Hell, around a 40-minute dhoni ride away, is known for its soft-coral scenery.
Hideaway's Double House Reef gives guests two reef areas to explore close to the island. Complimentary snorkelling equipment is provided, so travellers can spend time in the water without bringing their own kit.
Deep Blue Water Sports covers everything from slower lagoon activities to faster motorised sports. Guests can try catamaran sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, E-Surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, jet skiing, kayaking and inflatable fun rides.
Fishing trips range from traditional Maldivian techniques to more specialist sport fishing. The resort provides boats, equipment and experienced local fishermen for different types of outings.
Utheemu Island is around a 20-minute boat ride from Hideaway and gives guests the chance to see more of the history and everyday life of the northern Maldives. The visit includes Utheemu Palace, associated with Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu, as well as local-island exploration.
Dolphin-watching is available through the resort's excursion programme, including the Dhoni Sunset Cruise & Dolphin Watching experience.
Hideaway offers several ways to spend time on a sandbank away from the main island. These include Sunset Sandbank Getaway and Robinson Crusoe Island Expedition with a sandbank barbecue.
Couple Castaway is one of Hideaway's private experiences for two. It gives couples the chance to spend time away from the main resort in a more secluded island setting.

Hideaway has its own fully equipped marina for guests travelling through the Maldives by private yacht. The marina was built by Walcon Marine and can accommodate yachts up to 80 metres in length.
Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa is on Dhonakulhi Island in Haa Alifu Atoll, around 290 km north of Malé. From Velana International Airport, guests can take a 50-minute domestic flight to Hanimaadhoo International Airport followed by a 15–20-minute speedboat, or travel directly by seaplane in around 75 minutes.
