The Beach Villa is the simplest beach option and suits couples or a small family who want to stay close to the shore. Each 50 m² villa has direct beach access, an outdoor shower and Italian-designed interiors with a floating bed and rustic wildwood tables. Choose this category if easy access to the sand matters more than having the extra space or private pool offered by higher room types.
The Beach Suite stands out for its use of two-hundred-year-old wildwood. It forms the bed headboard and is also used for a suspended wash basin in the bathroom, bringing more character to the contemporary interior. Floating beds and rustic wildwood tables continue Cocoon's LAGO-led design, while an outdoor shower is included among the room facilities.
The Beach Suite with Pool is for travellers who want their own pool alongside Cocoon's contemporary Italian design. The 70 m² suite accommodates 3 Adults & 1 Child and includes a private pool, floating bed, rustic wildwood tables and outdoor shower.
The Family Beach Villa is designed for families of three or more and gives them considerably more room than the standard Beach Villa. Each villa measures 100 m² and accommodates either 4 Adults & 2 Children or 6 Adults. An interconnecting door from the veranda helps families stay together while having more space, and direct beach access keeps the shore close at hand.
The 65 m² Lagoon Villa is an overwater accommodation category for up to three adults. Its LAGO-designed interior includes a distinctive floating bed and rustic wildwood furnishings. The villa has a terrace and sea view, with floating beds and rustic wildwood tables continuing the design found throughout Cocoon Maldives.
The Lagoon Suite with Slide is easy to distinguish from the other lagoon categories: its slide leads straight from the suite into the lagoon. The 70 m² Lagoon Suite with Slide accommodates up to three adults. It features a slide leading directly into the lagoon, panoramic windows, a floating bed, rustic wildwood furnishings and an outdoor shower.
The Lagoon Suite with Pool is aimed at travellers who want their own private pool. It accommodates up to 3 adults and combines the pool with Italian-designed interiors, a floating bed, rustic wildwood tables and an outdoor shower.
The Cocoon Suite is the largest guest suite on the island, measuring 300 m². Its beachfront layout has two bedrooms, a large living room and an outdoor dining area, giving families much more shared and private space than the other accommodation categories. A private plunge pool sits outside, with views across the lagoon.
Octopus Restaurant is the resort's main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The international selection is supported by live cooking stations, while themed evenings bring a different cuisine to dinner through the week. These include Asian and Sushi Night, Maldivian Night, Italian Night, Mediterranean Night, Indian Night and Moroccan Night.
Manta Restaurant is an overwater à la carte restaurant serving lunch and dinner. Candlelit dining gives the venue a more intimate feel, and the hotel specifically presents it as a romantic place to eat.
Japanese Garden serves Japanese food and teppanyaki in a rustic jungle setting with views of the Indian Ocean. It is open for lunch and dinner and follows an à la carte format.
Kurum - Bar is a daytime bar close to one of the resort's preferred sunset spots. It serves refreshments and beverages, alongside a daily BBQ Chef's Experience for lunch with fresh fish from the lagoon and a choice of brunch options.
Loabi Loabi Bar is the resort's main poolside bar and stays open until midnight. Drinks include refreshing beverages and Maldivian cocktails, while the weekly entertainment programme can feature DJs, live music, Latino Night, White Party, Maldivian Night and karaoke.
Cocoon Maldives also offers dining experiences away from its regular restaurants and bars. Guests can arrange a sunset dinner at a sunken sand table or a picnic on a sandbank.
The Cube Spa offers revitalising facials and full-body rituals combining expert techniques with high-quality products. Treatments are available for individuals and couples in a tranquil tropical setting. Therapists draw on wellness practices from different parts of the world, giving guests a dedicated place for spa treatments between days on the beach or in the water.
The Fitness Centre offers 30- and 60-minute fitness and wellness sessions led by experienced, qualified instructors. Activities include beach volleyball, beach tennis, gym sessions, sunrise and sunset yoga, Pilates, Zumba and aqua fitness.
Cocoon Maldives offers both Sunrise Yoga and Sunset Yoga as part of its fitness and wellness programme. Sessions are led by qualified instructors and give guests a gentler option alongside the gym and more active classes.
The complimentary Kids Club is on the west coast of the island and welcomes children aged 3–12. It operates from 10:00 to 18:00. Facilities include an indoor playground with an interactive learning area, cinema room, large outdoor playground, ping-pong table and kids' pool. Babysitting is also available for babies and toddlers.
Cocoon Maldives offers non-motorised water sports including Kayak and Stand Up Paddle, with snorkelling gear also available.
The resort's excursion programme covers a broad mix of fishing, marine-life trips and visits beyond the island. Options include Sunset Dolphin Cruise, Picnic Island, Sunset Fishing, Sunrise Fishing-Trolling, Local Island Tour, Big Game Fishing and Hanifaru Bay Excursion, alongside night fishing, reef snorkelling and sandbank experiences.
Cocoon Maldives offers Maldivian Sports Fishing, along with sunrise and sunset fishing. The resort also refers to opportunities to fish for species including wahoo, jack fish and tuna.
Cocoon Maldives has a main swimming pool as well as its surrounding lagoon. The resort advises guests to avoid lagoon swimming during strong winds or rough seas and use the main pool instead.
Cocoon Maldives runs an entertainment programme that includes Live Band, DJ, Cultural Show, Sandbank Party, White Party, Glow Disco Night, Karaoke Night and Cinema Under the Stars, alongside Special Events.
Maldivian Cultural Show is part of Cocoon Maldives' entertainment programme and introduces guests to a traditional style of Maldivian music and performance.
