Guests can hire a private boat for cruising, fishing or a trip planned around their own group. The published fleet covers traditional, fishing and touring vessels of different sizes.
The resort has a hard-surface tennis court and publishes professional coaching and personalised lessons for different ability levels.
Padel is available as the resort’s other main racquet sport, with coaching and social play offered on the dedicated court. The published programme is suitable for guests aged six and over.

Pavilion Romance takes place in the resort’s overwater wedding pavilion. The private location gives couples their own space above the water for dinner.
Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is on Ithaafushi Island in the South Malé Atoll. The shared resort yacht from Velana International Airport takes around 40 minutes, with published waiting times of 30 to 60 minutes. Malé is around 30 minutes away by yacht. Private yacht transfers are also available, and all transfers must be arranged directly through the resort.
