On this day, drive to Battambang (173km / 2.30 hrs away), which is Cambodia's second-largest city. Once you arrive, visit the Provincial Museum (open from Monday to Friday) before you check in to the hotel.

Later in the afternoon, visit a local NGO Phare Ponleu Selpak to enjoy a guided tour of its campus to experience the vibrant energy of Phare firsthand. You will take a stroll through campus with one of our guides to see circus students learning new tricks or music students practising beneath the shades, and watch an animated film made by the students.

Note: Guided tours are offered from Monday through Friday at these times - 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm, except for weekends and public holidays. Later, the day ends with a visit to Phnom Banon, boasting 5 hilltop sandstone towers and stunning views of the plains.
