Couples and honeymooners get plenty of space in THE PALMS PRIVATE VILLA, with a master bedroom, separate living room, dressing room and an additional room with its own en-suite bathroom. Swahili-style details and locally made Zanzibari furniture give the interiors a clear connection to the island.

The Sultan's Bath is Frangipani Spa’s signature treatment for two. The experience takes place within the spa’s Swahili-inspired setting, where candlelight and spice-scented aromas add to the relaxed atmosphere.
The fitness centre forms part of the Frangipani Spa facilities at Baraza. It gives guests a dedicated indoor option for exercise alongside the hotel’s beach, water sports and outdoor activities.
The wellness programme at Frangipani Spa includes several scheduled yoga and meditation sessions during the week. These range from sunrise practice to slower evening sessions, giving guests an easy way to add movement or mindfulness to their stay.

The Rising Sun Dive Centre caters for first-time and experienced divers exploring Zanzibar’s south-east coast. It is a PADI Five-Star Gold Palm and RAID certified dive centre, with training and diving equipment available.
School Swahili-Style introduces guests to Zanzibar through Swahili language and island-history lessons led by a local Mwalimu.
Authentic Zanzibar Life takes guests into nearby Bwejuu village. The visit includes the local school and mosque, a traditional Swahili household and village markets where local produce can be sampled.
The Spice Island Master Class is a chef-led introduction to Swahili cooking. Guests prepare traditional dishes using ingredients such as seafood, coconut, lime and Zanzibar spices.
Be a Bao Master introduces guests to Bao, a traditional East African strategy game widely played in Zanzibar. Guests can learn the rules and playing techniques from experienced Bao players.
The hotel’s gardeners demonstrate traditional palm-tree climbing using a rope and their bare feet. Guests can also learn palm weaving and make a palm-leaf sun hat.
