Beach Villa is a good choice for couples who want to stay close to the sand without needing a private pool. Villas are set among tropical greenery on both the sunrise and sunset sides of the island, with private access to the beach. An outdoor deck provides space to sit outside, while the bathroom includes an oversized bathtub and an outdoor rain shower.

The Deluxe Beach Villa With Pool adds more living space for guests who plan to spend more time at their villa. Alongside the bedroom is a glass-enclosed living and dining area, while the outdoor deck has separate seating and dining space.
This one-bedroom suite gives couples and small families more indoor and outdoor space. It faces the ocean and has a shaded pool terrace with dining and seating, making it easy to spend a large part of the day outside.

This two-bedroom overwater villa gives families or friends separate bedrooms and a shared living area. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with the main living room positioned between them.
Beach Retreat With Pool has separate areas for sleeping, dining and relaxing, giving it more of a residential layout than the standard one-bedroom beach villas. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring views of the lagoon and pool into the living and dining area, while a small staircase leads to a loft with ocean views.
Family Beach Retreat With Pool adds an adjacent children's study to the master bedroom, making the sleeping arrangements more practical for parents travelling with younger guests. A separate living and dining area looks towards the lagoon and pool, while an upstairs loft provides another place to sit and take in the ocean view.
The two bedrooms in this retreat are arranged across separate floors. The master bedroom is on the ground floor, while a winding staircase leads to the second bedroom and its en-suite bathroom in the loft.
Three Bedroom Beach Reserve gives larger families and groups three bedrooms, a large private pool and plenty of outdoor space. The master bedroom is on the ground floor facing the sunset, while the second bedroom is reached across the main living and dining area. A third bedroom sits upstairs in the loft and also faces the sunset.
The Market is the resort’s main breakfast venue, serving familiar breakfast dishes alongside wellness-focused options, fresh juices and smoothies by the beach. In the evening, the menu moves towards international cooking, with South East Asian, Italian, Indian and Japanese influences, as well as live cooking nights and buffets.
Bottega centres on traditional Italian cooking, with homemade pasta, sourdough pizza and seasonal ingredients. Its pizza oven is the focal point of the restaurant, while fresh herbs from the Organic Garden feature across the menu.
Drift sits on Jehunuhura, a small private island around seven minutes by boat from Kanuhura. Lunch is served beneath the coconut trees, with local reef fish, seafood and locally and regionally inspired curries forming the main part of the menu.
Sip & Sand changes through the day. Lunch centres on cuts of meat and the catch of the day cooked over charcoal, while fresh juices, cocktails and mocktails are available throughout the day beside the pool.
The Point sits at the northern tip of Kanuhura and focuses on Spanish-influenced tapas and smaller sharing dishes. The kitchen uses ingredients from the Organic Garden alongside seafood and produce sourced locally and regionally.
Scoops is the place for homemade ice cream and sorbet, including plant-based choices, alongside cakes, cookies and fresh fruit and vegetable juices.
Sunset Point is a rooftop dining and drinks venue overlooking Lhaviyani Atoll. Light bites and lunch are served during the day, while the later hours focus more on cocktails and drinks as the sun goes down. A resident DJ also plays in the evening.
This separate dining experience combines lunch at Drift with more time on Jehunuhura. After eating, guests can snorkel around the nearby reef or spend time in a private cabana.
Masleggihuraa is around ten minutes by boat from Kanuhura and offers a true castaway day, with the private island to yourselves. Guests can swim, snorkel the reef, explore the island or settle beneath the coconut trees before lunch.
Six Senses can arrange private dining directly on the beach. Options include an early morning breakfast, sunset cocktails, a candlelit dinner for two and family barbecue dining under the stars.
The Private Beach Barbecue Dinner can be arranged on Kanuhura Beach or on the quieter shores of Jehunuhura. The experience begins from 7:30 pm onwards, with dinner served directly on the sand.
Guests can also order from the resort’s in-villa dining menu and eat in their own accommodation. The selection includes Mediterranean, Asian and local dishes.
Six Senses Spa Kanuhura brings treatments, recovery, fitness and wellness facilities together in one area. The spa has eight treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite and VIP suite, as well as male and female heat and water facilities.
Wellness Screening is used to look at selected biomarkers and lifestyle information before personalised recommendations are made. It can help guide treatments, exercise and other wellness choices during the stay.
Discover Yoga combines private hatha yoga sessions with guided meditation, breathing exercises, massages and energy treatments. It is open to both beginners and more experienced guests.
Alchemy Bar gives guests the chance to make personalised products with guidance from the resort’s Alchemist. The experience uses natural ingredients and takes a more hands-on approach than a standard spa treatment.
The resort has a gym that is open 24 hours, along with a Private Training Studio and Class Studio. Guests can also use the Yoga Studio and Outdoor Beachfront Yoga Pavilion.
Grow With Six Senses Children’s Club is complimentary for children aged 3 to 11. Activities include crafts, treasure hunts, beach and pool games, children’s yoga and a mix of indoor and outdoor sessions.
Ocean Watersports ranges from easy lagoon time to more energetic sessions. Single and double kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, windsurfing boards and catamaran sailing are among the complimentary activities available at the resort.
Lhaviyani Atoll gives guests access to a wide choice of snorkelling areas, with 30 dive and snorkel sites listed by the resort. Guests can explore the house reef as well as join guided trips farther from Kanuhura.
Deep Blue Divers runs the resort’s diving programme, with options for first-time divers, certified divers and children. Six Senses lists 30 dive and snorkel sites around the atoll, along with PADI courses and scheduled boat diving.
Turtle Safari travels around 15 minutes by boat to Turtle Airport for a two-hour snorkelling and diving experience. Green and hawksbill turtles are among the marine life guests may see around the reef.
Green sea turtles return to the resort’s beaches to nest, with hatching typically taking place 50 to 70 days later. Because this is a natural event, the timing cannot be guaranteed.
This 90-minute evening cruise heads into Lhaviyani Atoll from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, with bubbly and canapés served on board. Guests may see dolphins during the trip, depending on wildlife conditions.
This experience takes guests to an area frequented by nurse sharks. The snorkelling option lasts 60 minutes, while guests who prefer to stay out of the water can choose a 30-minute boat-based watching experience.
The resort has two open-air tennis courts and an air-conditioned squash court. Professional trainers are in residence, with coaching available for different ability levels.
Guests can keep active around the island without booking a formal lesson or excursion. The resort lists volleyball, football, badminton and table tennis among its sports facilities.
Six Senses Kanuhura has one of the Maldives’ largest beaches as well as two shared pools. The free-form pool measures 472 sqm, while the infinity pool at The Point measures 393 sqm.
Cinema Under the Stars brings film screenings outdoors, with Hollywood blockbusters and classic films included in the resort’s programme.
Mindful Stargazing combines looking at the night sky through a telescope with wellness elements such as moonlight meditation and singing-bowl therapy.
The Maldives Sustainability Tour takes guests behind the scenes to learn about the resort’s environmental work. It includes the water-bottling operation, Earth Lab, host areas and the island’s orchid collection.
Earth Lab is the resort’s hands-on sustainability space. Activities include papermaking and other practical workshops designed to show guests simple ways of reducing waste and reusing materials.

Six Senses Kanuhura can also host strategy sessions, wellness retreats, milestone celebrations and other organised group events.
Six Senses Kanuhura is in Lhaviyani Atoll, around 150 kilometres north of Malé. The usual journey from Velana International Airport is a 40-minute seaplane flight. Before departure, guests can relax in the Six Senses Lounge at the seaplane terminal, which has comfortable seating, bathrooms, a shower room, Wi-Fi, charging ports, light bites and drinks.
