The Villa Classic Garden View is a practical option for guests who prefer to stay within the island rather than over the water. The 65 sqm villa looks towards the garden and has a combined living and sleeping area separated by two steps.
The Beach Villa Classic Sea View gives guests more space and a position facing the sea. At approximately 77 sqm, it is larger than the garden-view category and has a combined living and sleeping area separated by two steps.
The Beach Villa Superior Sea View sits in the front row on the beach and has a sea view. At approximately 71 sqm, it works well for guests who want to stay close to the shore without choosing an overwater villa.
The Villa Economy is a 65 sqm garden-view option for guests who are less concerned about where their villa sits on the island. ROBINSON lists this category in a non-optimal location, while availability is strictly limited.
The Water Villa Classic Private Pool is set on stilts above the lagoon and gives guests a sea view through its fully glazed front. The 56 sqm villa has a combined living and sleeping area with a king-size bed and sofa bed for up to three adults.
Designed for a maximum of two adults, the Exclusive Reef Water Villa Pool is particularly suited to couples. The 58 sqm villa sits on stilts above the offshore lagoon and has a sea view, a king-size bed and a combined living and sleeping area.
The Funamadua One Bedroom Water Villa Pool is the largest accommodation category at ROBINSON MALDIVES, covering approximately 87 sqm. Unlike the other villas, it has a separate bedroom and living room, giving guests more space during longer stays or when sharing with friends.
Villa Roomhopper is designed for flexible guests who do not mind changing accommodation during their holiday. Depending on availability and the length of stay, guests may move between different room categories up to four times, with the exact rooms and number of changes confirmed at check-in.
The Main restaurant is the resort's main place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with buffet service at each meal. The selection includes changing and themed buffets, along with vegetarian, vegan, wholefood, nutrition-conscious and lactose-free choices. BalAyur dishes inspired by Ayurveda are also served at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Teppanyaki restaurant sits directly on the beach and focuses on Japanese Teppanyaki and show cooking. It provides an alternative to the Main restaurant buffet, with the cooking taking place as part of the evening dining experience.
WINE & DINE is an additional dinner option within the Main restaurant. Guests can reserve a table for dinner and receive a bottle of wine as part of the experience.
Champagne, cuisine and sea is a private dining option served on the guest's bungalow terrace. ROBINSON provides cold champagne and a BBQ for an additional charge, with romantic music included as part of the setup.
The Main bar opens from late morning and continues into the evening, making it suitable for both daytime and after-dinner drinks. Drinks covered by the resort's all-inclusive plan are available here throughout the day.
The Sundowner bar is aimed at the early evening, opening from 5.30 pm to 8 pm. Its opening times make it a convenient place for drinks before dinner.
The on-site Deep & Breeze Dive Centre is a PADI Five Star Dive Resort catering for first-time, certified and experienced divers. The house reef lies approximately 20–200 metres offshore, with Check Dives and Fun Dives available there. The centre also runs daily boat dives to more than 40 dive sites around the atoll.
Guests can snorkel around the resort's own house reef, which lies approximately 20–200 metres from the island. Mask, fins and snorkel hire are included, making it easy to explore the water independently.
Catamaran sailing is available from the water sports school on the beach. The resort has one TOPCAT K1 catamaran, with hire available to guests who hold a recognised catamaran licence or equivalent proof of competence and practical experience.
Guests can hire a stand-up paddleboard and paddle around the island. ROBINSON lists two boards, making this a straightforward option for anyone who wants some time on the water without joining a boat excursion.
Water skiing is available through the resort's externally operated water sports programme. ROBINSON lists four pairs of water skis and describes the surrounding area as suitable for the activity.
Windsurfing is available through the resort's local water sports partner. Equipment, wetsuits and lifejackets can be hired for an additional charge, while courses can also be booked locally. It gives both beginners and experienced windsurfers another way to enjoy the waters around the island.
Turtle Quest is a guided snorkelling excursion by boat. It takes guests out into the surrounding waters to snorkel in areas where there are opportunities to see turtles.
ROBINSON MALDIVES has one padel court with artificial turf and quartz sand. Taster sessions cover the rules and safety, while court use includes racket and ball hire without an additional charge.
WellFit Spa brings together the resort's sauna, relaxation area, massages and beauty treatments. Facilities include a Finnish sauna, relaxation area, beauty rooms and massage rooms, including rooms suitable for couples' treatments.
The fitness studio has cardio and strength-training equipment, a Power Plate station and a touchscreen terminal with virtual programmes including functional and fascia training. Guests can also exercise outside in the open-air WellFit area.
GROUPFITNESS gives guests the option of joining organised exercise sessions rather than training alone. The programme includes strengthening sessions such as body styling, functional workouts and Aqua Fit, with dance-based endurance and choreography sessions offered at selected times.
BODY&MIND focuses on flexibility, controlled movement and lower-impact exercise. The programme includes Pilates, Yoga and Stretch&Relax.
PERSONAL TRAINING is offered at selected times for an additional charge. A ROBINSON personal trainer can design an individual programme based on the guest's goals.
ROBINSON MALDIVES holds a WellFit DAY once a week. During the day, the resort's ROBINS run special classes as part of a dedicated fitness and wellness programme.
BalAyur combines WellFit-Active, WellFit-Spa and food and drink based on Ayurveda principles. The activity programme includes walking courses, functional training, Pilates, meditation and yoga.
Sportstainment covers a broad choice of casual land-based sports and games. Guests can take part in beach volleyball, badminton, beach soccer, table tennis, billiards, Crossboccia, beach tennis, Speedminton and table football.
The resort's main freshwater pool measures 30 metres long and between 10 and 17 metres wide, with depths ranging from 80 to 200 cm. The Pool bar is integrated into the pool area.
The entertainment programme includes staged gastrotainment evenings, Barlife and Dance, beach and theme parties, and a daily sundowner with live music or a DJ. ROBINSON also includes dance performances within its wider programme.
LUHANA is a Hawaiian-themed full-day event held every fortnight. The programme includes entertainment, colourful decorations, a themed sundowner and dinner buffets.
ROBINSON MALDIVES offers honeymoon stays and symbolic wedding ceremonies on the beach. The wedding ceremony is not legally binding. The resort map also lists a Bridal Atelier as part of its on-island facilities.
ROBINSON MALDIVES is on Funamadua Island in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll, southern Maldives, around 60 kilometres north of the equator. After arriving at the international airport in Malé, guests continue by domestic flight to Kaadedhdhoo Airport, followed by a speedboat to the resort. The house reef lies approximately 20–200 metres from the island.
Transfer details: Approximately 70 minutes by domestic flight to Kaadedhdhoo Airport, followed by around 30 minutes by speedboat. The domestic transfer allowance is 20 kg of checked luggage plus 5 kg of hand luggage per person. During transfer waiting times, guests can use the Business Class Lounge at the domestic airport free of charge, with tea, coffee, soft drinks, small pastries and internet access.
Domestic transfer timings depend on the local airline schedule, so waiting times in Malé can be up to around five hours. Late arrivals from approximately 23:00, or disruption caused by bad weather, may require an overnight stay in Malé before the resort transfer can operate.
