The Superior Studio is a good choice for couples and small families who want extra space without choosing a private-pool room. Set on the resort hillside, it looks across the greenery, with some rooms also offering partial views of Phang Nga Bay.
The Seaview Plunge Pool Deluxe Studio suits couples who want a private pool and a hillside position overlooking Paradise Bay. At 62 sqm, it has a private infinity-edge plunge pool and wooden deck, giving guests their own outdoor space beside the pool.
The Seaview Pool Villa is the resort’s largest current accommodation category and is designed for two adults. This 91 sqm, single-storey villa sits directly on the beach, with private beach access and uninterrupted views across Phang Nga Bay.
Seafood Terrace is the resort’s main restaurant, with covered open-air seating and tables directly on the beach. Breakfast is served here each morning, followed by all-day à la carte dining with Thai and Western dishes. The restaurant also runs themed buffet evenings, including Thai, seafood barbecue and other changing themes.
Al Fresco is an open-air beachfront restaurant serving Italian and Mediterranean food in the evening. The kitchen uses a mix of imported and local ingredients, including produce grown at the resort where available, and there is an on-site pizza oven.
The Beach Club sits beside the resort’s 350 sqm swimming pool and provides service to the shaded loungers along the beach. It serves light snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and Italian gelato from late morning through the afternoon.
Sundowner Bar is the resort’s evening beachfront bar, serving tropical cocktails, other drinks and light snacks. It opens from late afternoon until midnight, making it suitable for a drink before dinner or later in the evening.
Aruna Aura Spa & Wellness sits on the resort hillside, where open-air treatment salas look towards rice fields and a water lily pond. Treatments include massages, facials, scrubs, wraps and other body treatments using Asian wellness techniques.
The infinity-edge swimming pool sits among the trees beside the beach. It covers 350 sqm and has a spacious pool deck with loungers and sunshade umbrellas.
The resort has 400 metres of private shoreline at the northern end of Koh Yao Noi. Guests can swim, sunbathe or spend time beneath the palms, with deckchairs and hammocks placed along the beachfront.
Daily group yoga classes take place in an open-air beachfront sala with views across Phang Nga Bay. The resident yoga teacher adapts sessions to those taking part, with beginners through to advanced practitioners welcome.
The Jungle Fitness Track forms part of the resort’s Back to Nature programme and provides an outdoor fitness option within the resort’s natural surroundings.
The Activity Centre is the main place for arranging resort activities, equipment hire and excursions. The team can organise day trips and outdoor activities, while board games, ping pong and beach sports are also available.
Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards can be hired for exploring the water around the resort. When conditions are calm, guests can paddle towards the floating pontoon or follow the cliffside at the northern end of the bay.
The Thai Cooking Class begins with guests collecting fresh ingredients from the resort gardens before preparing Thai dishes and desserts with one of the chefs.
Mountain bikes are available for guests who want to explore Koh Yao Noi independently. The route towards the main village follows a challenging dirt road through protected parkland, with the village around 7 km from the resort.
Batik Painting / Tie Dye gives guests a hands-on creative activity at the Activity Centre. Batik uses a wax-resistant dyeing technique on cloth, while the tie-dye option can be used to create a handkerchief or T-shirt.
The Activity Centre provides equipment for simple activities around the resort. Guests can use snorkelling gear alongside badminton, football, volleyball, pétanque and paddle ball equipment.
Island hopping visits islands around Koh Yao Noi and Krabi, including Koh Hong, Lading Island and Pha Koh. The itinerary combines sightseeing, swimming and opportunities to snorkel, with a picnic lunch included.
This guided kayak trip explores sea caves, mangrove forest, limestone cliffs and hidden lagoons around Leam Teng Bay in Krabi Province. After kayaking, the trip continues by long-tail boat to an island for lunch and swimming.
This trip crosses by long-tail boat to Krabi before continuing by kayak through the mangrove forest and between limestone cliffs. After kayaking and lunch, guests travel to Lading Island for swimming.
The Fishing Tour takes guests out with local fishermen by local fishing boat. Guests can watch local fishing methods and try fishing themselves, with fishing gear provided.
Village Tours take guests around Koh Yao Noi to learn more about local island life. Officially listed stops include a rice field café, floating lobster farm and Laem Had Beach.
Private Boat Rental is available for guests who prefer to explore with their own group. The current excursion sheet lists Phang-Nga Bay sightseeing and a half-day Pa Koh and Hong Island route, with both options accommodating a maximum of six guests.
Back to Nature combines several of the resort’s nature-focused activities. It includes a Guided Nature Walkthrough, Island Hopping Excursion and use of the Jungle Fitness Track.
Paradise Koh Yao is at 24 Moo 4, Koh Yao Noi, Phang Nga, between Phuket and Krabi. From Phuket International Airport, it is around 20 minutes by road to Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, then 50 minutes by speedboat. From Krabi International Airport, allow around 50 minutes by road to Tha Len Pier, followed by a 30-minute speedboat. Transfers should be reserved at least 48 hours ahead.
Transfer details: Scheduled minivan and speedboat from Phuket or Krabi; private transfers are also available. Night transfers are not available. Guests arriving after 16:00 will need to stay overnight in Phuket or Krabi and travel to the resort the following day.
