The Water Pool Villa is a one-bedroom overwater option with an ocean view and private plunge pool. It suits couples, honeymooners or a small family who would rather stay over the water than beside the beach.
The Water Pool Villa with Slide adds a waterslide to the resort’s one-bedroom overwater villa format. It also has an ocean view, King Bed, seating area and private plunge pool.
The 2-bedroom Water Pool Villa with Slide combines family-sized accommodation with an overwater setting. It has two bedrooms, a private plunge pool and a slide into the water.
The Water Pool Suite with Slide offers more shared space than the standard one-bedroom Water Pool Villas. It includes one bedroom, a separate living area, private plunge pool and waterslide.
The four-bedroom Overwater Presidential Suite sits at the far end of Meyyafushi’s overwater jetty, giving larger families and groups a more private setting. It comes with a private infinity pool, spa treatment room, kitchen and private cinema.
Bubble is Meyyafushi’s underwater restaurant, with views into the surrounding marine environment. The restaurant focuses on fine dining and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although published service times are currently available only for lunch and dinner.
Thaana serves Mediterranean food for lunch and dinner. It gives guests a dedicated speciality restaurant option away from the main buffet, with an ocean-facing setting.
Alif draws on cooking traditions from Thailand, China, India, Indonesia and the Maldives. It offers a different choice from the resort’s Mediterranean and international restaurants and is open for both lunch and dinner.
Sukun is Meyyafushi’s teppanyaki restaurant, where chefs prepare the meal on the iron griddle in front of diners. The format makes dinner more interactive than the resort’s other restaurant experiences.
Fili is the resort’s main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The selection includes international and local food, giving guests plenty of choice across the three daily services.
Hatharu Dhan is open 24 hours for coffee, iced drinks, pastries, snacks and light bites. Its name refers to “24 hours” in Dhivehi, matching the café’s round-the-clock service.
Sky Lounge & Sunken Seating is an adults-only venue with sunken seating and a glass-bottom infinity pool. It gives adults a separate place to spend time by the pool or enjoy drinks during the day and evening.
Signature Dining Experiences give guests the option to eat away from the resort’s regular restaurants. Choices include a secluded sandbank picnic and a floating breakfast served in a villa pool.
In-Villa Dining lets guests order international food directly to their villa throughout the day. It is useful for mornings by the private pool, quieter meals or evenings when guests prefer to stay in their accommodation.
Veyoge Spa is set over the water and offers holistic therapies delivered by the resort’s therapists. It gives adults a dedicated place to slow down between excursions, watersports and other activities.
Meyyafushi offers guided yoga for beginners through to more experienced guests. The Experiences page also lists indoor and outdoor yoga facilities.
The Overwater Fitness Centre is equipped for cardio and strength training. Its main advantage is 24-hour access, so guests can exercise around their own holiday schedule.
The Hair & Beauty Salon provides hairstyling, haircuts, colour, make-up and manicures during the stay.
Kokko Kids Club gives younger guests their own indoor and outdoor activity spaces. Dedicated activities are available for children aged 4 to 12, with a mini-skate ramp, wall climbing, indoor playhouse and an outdoor park with a pool and slide.
Meyyafushi gives divers quick access to a wide choice of sites around Lhaviyani Atoll. Several are reached within five to ten minutes by boat, while further sites are around 15 to 25 minutes away.
The Dolphin Cruise takes guests out by traditional Dhoni to look for dolphins in the waters around the resort.
Guests can take a Dhoni out around sunset for a quieter boat trip away from the island. It is one of the four group excursion choices currently listed by the resort.
Meyyafushi has a dedicated Watersports Centre with both relaxed and more active choices. Non-motorised activities include paddle boats, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing and kayaking, with snorkelling equipment also available.
The Coral rejuvenation garden is listed within Meyyafushi’s Water Activities programme. It adds a marine-focused experience alongside the resort’s diving, snorkelling and excursions.
The Tennis Court gives guests a dedicated place for a full game away from the water-based activities. It stays open from early morning into the evening.
Meyyafushi’s fixed overwater padel tennis court is one of the resort’s signature sporting facilities. The court is built above the lagoon, giving guests an unusual setting for a game.
The Mini-Bowling Lane is one of Meyyafushi’s more unusual indoor recreation features. It gives families and groups something different to do away from the beach, pool and watersports.
Wall climbing is listed within the resort’s Sports & Recreation programme and is also part of the Kokko children’s facilities.
Meyyafushi’s cultural programme introduces guests to Maldivian crafts, language, food and traditions. Activities include Boduberu lessons, Thaana writing workshops, coconut painting, coconut husking, palm weaving and a Maldivian cooking class.
Live music and DJ nights form part of Meyyafushi’s regular entertainment programme. They give guests a livelier option after dinner without having to leave the resort.
Workshops are included in the resort’s Entertainment programme and provide another organised activity alongside live music, films and cultural experiences.
Meyyafushi offers several settings for wedding celebrations. Couples can choose a beachfront ceremony at sunset, the resort’s pavilion or a sandbank ceremony.

Birthday celebrations can be arranged during a stay at Meyyafushi. The dedicated celebration information lists a bottle of wine, celebration cake and a special turn-down in the villa.
Anniversary celebrations can be planned with support from the guest’s Resident Host. The hotel can arrange occasions for couples as well as celebrations involving friends and family.
Professional photography and videography can be arranged for weddings and other special occasions. Meyyafushi also lists a Photo Studio among its resort services.
Meyyafushi has a fully equipped Meeting Room for business groups, board meetings, corporate events and team retreats. A dedicated Meeting & Event Coordinator can assist with arrangements.
Hydrotherapy forms part of Meyyafushi’s wider Spa & Wellness offering, alongside Veyoge Spa, yoga and other wellness facilities.
Steam and sauna facilities are part of Meyyafushi’s Spa & Wellness collection. They provide another way to unwind alongside treatments at Veyoge Spa and guided yoga.
Meyyafushi is located in Lhaviyani Atoll, 145 km from Velana International Airport. On arrival, guests are met outside the terminal and taken by an approximately five-minute shuttle to the seaplane terminal. Before boarding, guests have access to the Seaplane VIP lounge, with light refreshments and complimentary Wi-Fi. The onward journey to the island takes around 35 minutes by seaplane and operates during daylight hours.
Transfer details: 145 km from Velana International Airport; approximately 5-minute shuttle followed by a 35-minute daylight seaplane transfer. For a same-day seaplane connection, international flights need to arrive between 06:00 and 15:45 and depart between 09:00 and 20:00. The luggage allowance is 20kg of checked luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per guest.
