Later, continue to Minneriya National Park for an included jeep safari, with the chance to see elephants and other wildlife across the park’s open landscapes. Stop at Dambulla Cave Temple to see its cave shrines, Buddhist statues and colourful murals, then visit a spice garden before continuing into the hill country. In Kandy, spend the evening at the Temple of the Tooth, one of Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist sites, before joining an included night walk through the city. Return to your accommodation afterwards for dinner.
