Overview

Bali works brilliantly as a twin-centre holiday because the island never feels the same from one region to the next. Ubud is quieter, greener and shaped by temples, jungle valleys and wellness retreats, while Nusa Dua leans more towards beachfront luxury, ocean views and slower afternoons by the water. This 10-day Bali escape combines both sides comfortably, giving you time to experience the island beyond just one setting.

Enjoy your Bali holiday deal featuring return London flights and private transfers. Begin with four nights in Ubud at a 5-star resort featuring daily yoga, Keliki village walks, and cocktails at Sadha Lounge. Exclusive perks include a 60-minute Arti Massage for two and Balinese cultural sessions.

Your Bali itinerary continues with five nights at a 5-star beachfront suite in Nusa Dua. Get direct ocean access, non-motorised water sports, beachside yoga, and 24-hour e-butler service. Bookings for 2026, 2027, and 2028 are open, with deposits starting from £199. Contact 0203 023 7776 to book this Bali holiday deal.

Itinerary

Expand All

Arriving into Bali, you will head inland towards Ubud, where the scenery gradually changes from busy roadside cafés and scooters to rice fields, jungle valleys and smaller temple-lined villages. Depending on traffic, the drive can take around 90 minutes or longer, though most people stop checking the time once the roads become greener and quieter. Your first four nights are spent at the 5-star exclusive resort in a River Suite on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Compared to Bali’s busier coastal areas, Ubud feels noticeably calmer, especially during early mornings when mist still hangs above the surrounding valleys.

Most days here tend to begin slowly. Some guests head to Yoga Shala or Agnira Space for scheduled yoga sessions, whereas others start the morning walking through nearby Keliki village as part of the resort’s guided countryside walks. After returning, breakfast usually stretches longer than expected once the river views and jungle surroundings properly settle in.

During your stay, you will also receive a complimentary 60-minute Arti Massage for two, alongside wellness experiences and Balinese cultural activities organised by the resort throughout the week. Evenings feel relaxed here too. Cocktails and canapés are served daily at Sadha Lounge between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm, and by the time guests return to their suites later on, fresh fruit is already waiting in the room following evening turndown service.

Arrival feels thoughtful from the beginning as well, with a welcome drink served at check-in alongside a seasonal fruit basket placed inside the suite. If you decide to head into central Ubud, the hotel operates a scheduled shuttle service three times daily, making it easy to visit cafés, temples, artisan shops and nearby rice terraces without organising taxis repeatedly. After four relaxing days in Ubud’s jungle surroundings, you will continue south on Day 5 towards the beaches of Nusa Dua.

Accommodation

Abisena Wellness and Resort Ubud

Finding a quiet corner of Ubud is getting harder, but Abisena Wellness and Resort manages to pull it off. Located in the village of Keliki, it sits just outside the busy energy of the town centre, surrounded instead by deep jungle valleys and working rice fields. It’s an easy 15-minute hop into town via the resort’s shuttle, putting spots like the Ubud Palace within reach, but the vibe here encourages you to stay put. Between the mist-shrouded River Suites, the Yoga Shala, and their tailored 'Mindful Lifestyle' retreats, complete with organic dining, most people come here to properly switch off for a few days. Expect about a two-hour drive from Ngurah Rai Airport.

By the time you reach Nusa Dua on Day 5, the scenery barely resembles Ubud anymore. Jungle roads and river valleys disappear, replaced by wider coastal roads, oceanfront resorts and quieter beaches overlooking the Indian Ocean. You will spend five nights at the 5-star Samabe Bali Suites & Villas, staying in an Ocean Front Samabe Suite on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Most days here end up revolving around the beach almost without planning to. Guests receive complimentary one-time access to the Silent West Beach Cabana for three hours between 11 am and 4 pm, though many usually stay by the water long after that finishes. Non-motorised water sports including catamaran sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, windsurfing and paddleboarding are available throughout the stay, while quieter mornings often begin with yoga sessions beside the ocean, except on Sundays.

Afternoons are generally slower. Some people spend them around the infinity pool, others disappear towards the private beach with cold drinks from the open-air bars and restaurants included throughout the day. Minibars are replenished daily with soft drinks and beer, and fresh fruit and children’s ice cream appear poolside during the afternoon around 3 pm. Shortly after arrival, guests also receive a Samabe welcome gift, alongside access to the resort’s 24-hour e-butler service, which keeps everything running smoothly in the background without ever feeling too formal or intrusive.

After spending ten nights between Bali’s jungle landscapes and southern coastline, you will return to London with unforgettable memories of your Bali holiday.

Samabe Bali Suites & Villas front view

Samabe Bali Suites & Villas

Samabe Bali Suites & Villas is tucked away on the quieter, southern edge of Nusa Dua. It sits right on a cliffside, meaning all 81 of their suites and villas look straight out over the Indian Ocean. The drive from the airport takes about 45 minutes, depending on how wild the Bali traffic is that day. Once there, it’s completely all-inclusive, we're talking 24-hour butler service, free-flowing non-alcoholic beverages, and two great restaurants. Plus, you’re just a short trip from Geger Beach, and about an hour away from the evening Kecak dances at Uluwatu Temple.
