LUX* JUNIOR SUITES are a practical choice for couples or smaller families who want plenty of space without moving into a multi-bedroom category. Located on the ground and first floors, they look towards the tropical gardens and turquoise lagoon and have soft, neutral interiors with terrazzo finishes.
LUX* FAMILY SUITES are designed for families who want to stay together while keeping separate sleeping areas. Each 130 sqm suite combines two interleading rooms, making it useful for families with older children or two couples travelling together.
LUX* POOL RESIDENCES give families and groups two bedrooms, their own pool and more room for spending time together. The 180 sqm residences are across the road from the main resort and connected by a skywalk, with accommodation on the first, second and third floors.
LUX* OCEAN JUNIOR SUITES suit couples and smaller families who want the same generous 65 sqm layout with a higher-floor position. Set on the second floor, these suites have panoramic views across the lagoon and furnished outdoor space for enjoying the outlook.
LUX* POOL PENTHOUSES offer a three-bedroom layout for larger families and groups. Positioned on the third floor behind the main resort, they are across the road and connected to the hotel by a skywalk.
LUX* POOL VILLAS suit families or groups of friends who prefer the privacy of a two-storey villa. The 240 sqm Pool Villas are set within the tropical gardens, just a few metres from the beach, and include two en-suite bedrooms.
LUX* BEACHFRONT POOL VILLAS sit directly on the beach, a few metres from the sea. Their 240 sqm, two-storey layout works well for families and groups who want two bedrooms alongside their own outdoor areas and pool.
LUX* GRAND BEACH POOL VILLA is the resort’s largest accommodation category, with three bedrooms and a beachfront position facing the lagoon. At 620 sqm, it is best suited to larger families or groups who want more space and their own pool close to the beach.
BEACH ROUGE is the resort’s main restaurant and beach club, serving food from breakfast through to dinner. Breakfast is à la carte, while lunch focuses on Mediterranean cuisine beside the beach. The venue also includes an Italian Kitchen with a Mozzarella Bar, Bakery & The Deli, giving guests more choice during the day.
THE FOOD LAB is a culinary laboratory within the resort’s main kitchen rather than a standard restaurant. It includes an ingredient library, fermentation area, pastry zone and photography and video studio, giving guests a closer look at how dishes are developed.
AI KISU is the resort’s contemporary Asian restaurant and bar, open for dinner. The menu draws on Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Southeast Asian, Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian influences, while an open kitchen allows guests to watch some of the preparation.
ICI is the resort’s ice cream parlour, serving freshly made gelato, ice cream, sorbet and granita in small batches. Flavours change during the day, so there can be something different to try between visits.
BISOU is a rooftop restaurant and bar beside an infinity pool overlooking Grand Baie’s lagoon. The food centres on tapas inspired by different cuisines, while cabanas and in-water tables provide several places to sit for food and drinks.
WALIMA BY BISOU is the resort’s Moroccan restaurant, set on the rooftop overlooking the Indian Ocean. The menu focuses on Moroccan cooking, with dishes such as tagine, couscous, briouates and taktouka featured by the hotel.
Beach Rouge Bar stays open from early morning until late evening. As part of the BEACH ROUGE beach-club setting, it gives guests an easy place for drinks throughout the day and into the evening.
MAISON LUX* is a Milanese-style café and bar that changes throughout the day. Mornings focus on locally roasted single-origin coffee and French and Italian pastries, followed by daytime refreshments, gelato and La Merenda.
CLUB AI KISU is the resort’s adults-only nightclub, open on Friday and Saturday nights. DJs, musicians and vinyl provide the music, while mixologists prepare drinks at the bar.
THE MAURITIAN FOOD LAB is a three-hour Chef’s Table experience focused on Mauritian food and local ingredients. Guests meet a Mauritian chef, who prepares the meal in front of them using ingredients sourced from local farmers, fishermen and artisans.
BISOU ROOFTOP ALL TO YOURSELF is a private morning experience for two, with exclusive use of the rooftop from 09:00 to 12:00. Breakfast can be served at a submerged table in the heated pool or on a floating tray.
COCOONS gives guests a private place to have breakfast, special brunch, lunch or dinner beside the beach. The setting looks towards the lagoon, with a dedicated team member looking after the dining experience.
LUX* ME SPA is the main wellness facility at LUX* Grand Baie. It has six treatment rooms, two double spa suites, an outdoor relaxation pool and garden, changing facilities and a foot-revive water path.
HYDROTHERMAL BATH JOURNEY forms part of the spa’s lower-floor wellness facilities. Guests can move through a Turkish hammam, heated pool, hot and cold foot baths, aromatherapy steam, sauna and other heat and water experiences.
MUSCLE UP ON THE ROOF is the resort’s outdoor rooftop fitness area. Its standout feature is a pair of 30-metre Olympic-standard running tracks, giving runners and active guests a dedicated place to train above the resort.
The Fitness Centre is the resort’s main indoor training space and is open to guests aged 16 and over. Technogym equipment supports cardio, strength and functional training, while personal training and a programme of weekly wellness classes are also available.
24h room service allows guests to have food and drinks brought to their accommodation at any time of day. The service is available around the clock and carries an additional charge.
