The Two Bedroom Beach Villa is a practical choice for larger families and groups who want to stay together without sharing one open sleeping area. It sits on the north-west side of the island with Indian Ocean views and beach access.
Jacuzzi Beach Villas sit along Kuredu’s Main Beach, close to the lagoon and central resort facilities. They suit couples who want more outdoor space and a private Jacuzzi, while the family-friendly Main Area also makes them suitable for parents travelling with children.
The Deluxe Beach Villa gives families more sleeping flexibility without requiring a separate second bedroom. Positioned on the north-west side of Kuredu, it has Indian Ocean views and beach access.
Premium Beach Villas are set on the south side of Kuredu’s Main Beach, with lagoon views and the sand close by. They are a good fit for couples or families who want a beachfront room but do not need a Jacuzzi or private pool.
Beach Villas sit on the north-east side of the island and give couples or families more room than the bungalow categories. Indian Ocean views and beach access keep the setting close to the water while remaining within Kuredu’s all-ages Main Area.
Premium Beach Bungalows are positioned on the north side of Kuredu, close to the beach and away from some of the busier central areas. They suit couples and smaller families who prefer a simple beachfront room rather than a larger villa.
Beach Bungalows are a simple option for travellers who expect to spend most of their holiday outside. They sit on the north side of the island, with the beach nearby and an outdoor sitting area facing the ocean.
Garden Bungalows sit among landscaped greenery on Kuredu’s north-east side, behind the ‘O’ Beach Villas. They suit couples and small families who prefer simpler garden-based accommodation and do not need to stay directly beside the beach. Garden Bungalows are the only accommodation category available with a Bed & Breakfast meal plan.
The ‘O’ Jacuzzi Beach Villa suits couples and guests aged 12 and above who want a quieter setting with a private Jacuzzi. ‘O’ Resort is on the east-facing side of the island and welcomes guests aged 12 and above, with its own pool, restaurant and bar nearby.
The ‘O’ Beach Villa is a simpler alternative to the Jacuzzi category within ‘O’ Resort. It suits couples and guests aged 12 and above who prefer the quieter east-facing setting without a private Jacuzzi.
The Private Pool Villa Family Suite is designed for larger families and groups who want more privacy and separate sleeping space. Two rooms sit within one gate, each with its own amenities, while both share a 40 m² freshwater pool.
Private Pool Villas are aimed at travellers who value space and privacy more than an overwater setting. The villas are screened by tropical greenery and walls, with a 40 m² freshwater pool forming the main part of the outdoor area.
The Sangu Water Villa Honeymoon Suite is Kuredu’s largest overwater category for two adults and is especially well suited to honeymooners and couples celebrating a special trip. It stands above the water at the end of the Sangu walkway, close to the island’s sandbank.
Sangu Water Villas offer an overwater stay with direct ocean access from the villa. They sit on Kuredu’s sunset side and suit couples who want to spend more of their holiday beside and above the water.
Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villas accommodate up to two guests and sit within Kuredu’s Sangu area, which welcomes guests aged 15 and above. They sit in the Sangu area near the sandbank, giving couples a quieter beachfront position.
Sangu Premium Beach Villas are a simpler beachfront choice within the Sangu collection. They sit on the south side of Kuredu with lagoon views and the beach only a few steps away.
Franco's is Kuredu’s Mediterranean restaurant, with Spanish, Greek and Italian influences alongside pizza, pasta, burgers and sandwiches. The broad menu makes it a useful option for couples, families and groups who want plenty of choice without a formal dining set-up.
The Far East focuses on Asian cuisine, including sushi and teppanyaki. Local fish and fresh produce also feature in the restaurant’s cooking.
The Beach is Kuredu’s seaside grill near Babuna Bar. The menu combines French classics with Maldivian influences and includes fresh local seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes.
Sangu Restaurant serves international and local buffet dishes with both indoor and terrace seating. It sits in the Sangu area, close to Sangu Bar and the wine cellar, and is designed for guests using the Sangu facilities.
O Restaurant sits over the water in ‘O’ Resort and serves themed buffet dining with views across the Indian Ocean. Its location makes it particularly convenient for guests staying in the ‘O’ Resort area.
Koamas Restaurant is in Kuredu’s central area beside Babuna Bar. The buffet combines international and local dishes with live cooking stations and changing themed menus.
Bonthi Restaurant is the main buffet restaurant for guests staying in Garden Bungalows, Premium Beach Bungalows and Beach Bungalows. It serves international and local dishes with changing theme nights.
Sai Kotari is a tea house at the end of Kuredu’s arrival jetty. It serves premium hot drinks and international beer, with the overwater setting particularly suited to sunset.
Candlelight Dinner is a private four-course dinner served on the beach beneath the night sky.
Private poolside dining at Sangu Pool gives couples another setting for dinner away from Kuredu’s regular restaurants.
Romantic Dinner Cruise takes place aboard a wooden yacht with a personal crew serving dinner while the boat sails through the atoll around sunset.
Floating Breakfast is available for guests staying in Kuredu’s Private Pool Villas. Breakfast is served in the villa’s private pool, allowing guests to eat without heading to the buffet restaurant.
Chef’s Table is a private multi-course dining experience, with the meal prepared in front of guests by Kuredu’s culinary team.
Kuredu’s All-Inclusive Plus plan includes selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, minibar snacks, afternoon tea, one Sunset Cruise, selected group lessons, a yoga session and access to several sports facilities. It also includes selected spa and food-and-drink discounts, subject to the resort’s current terms.
Akiri Bar sits on the beach beside Main Reception and focuses on rum. The drinks list includes rums from around the world and tiki-style cocktails.
Babuna Bar sits beside Koamas and is one of Kuredu’s main entertainment venues. The drinks selection includes cocktails, shots and other bar favourites, with regular evening entertainment taking place nearby.
Pool Bar is on the main pool deck beside Franco's. It specialises in frozen cocktails, including margaritas and daiquiris.
Sangu Bar is beside Sangu Restaurant and focuses on gin and gin-based cocktails. It is a convenient place for a drink before or after dinner in the Sangu area.
Sangu Wine Cellar is a glass wine cellar beside the Sangu dining area. Its selection is chosen by the resort’s sommelier and gives guests a wider choice of wine to enjoy with dinner.
'O' Bar is within ‘O’ Resort and offers indoor and outdoor deck seating. Its drinks selection includes 20 international vodkas alongside cocktails.
Golf Bar is beside Kuredu Golf Club and serves international beers, long drinks and wine.
Duniye Spa has two locations on Kuredu: the Land Spa in the island’s tropical interior and ‘O’ Spa over the water. Both are open from 10:00 - 20:00.
Kuredu’s Fitness Centre is arranged across two levels. The downstairs studio is used for stretching, yoga and floor exercises, while the upstairs gym has cardio and weight-training equipment overlooking the lagoon and house reef.
Prodivers runs Kuredu’s PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, with access to more than 60 dive sites around Lhaviyani Atoll. Beginners can take their first steps underwater, while qualified divers can join guided dives, explore the house reef or continue their training.
Kuredu’s house reef begins around 20 metres from shore and includes seagrass areas and a shipwreck. Beginners can start with a complimentary Discover Snorkelling session, which includes guidance and an introduction in the lagoon.
MSTS Watersports Centre operates from the beach and offers activities ranging from relaxed paddling to faster motorised watersports.
Kuredu was the first resort in the Maldives to offer golf. Its six-hole Par 3 course has an average hole length of around 55 yards, giving beginners and regular players somewhere to practise without taking up a full day.
Kuredu has floodlit tennis and padel courts that can be used from early morning until late evening. The resort introduced the Maldives’ first padel court in 2018 and later added the country’s first glass padel court.
Kuredu has three main pools across the island: the Main Pool with a Children’s Pool, the ‘O’ Pool and the Sangu Infinity Pool.
Max’s Mermaids & Pirates Kids’ Club welcomes children aged 3 to 12. Children under three can use the facilities when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The club runs daytime and evening sessions, while the outdoor playground is open from 08:00 - 22:00 and is not supervised.
Full-Day Sailing and Snorkelling takes guests across Lhaviyani Atoll, combining sailing, snorkelling and time away from the resort.
PIx Maldives is Kuredu’s professional photography service. The in-house photographers offer sessions for couples, families, honeymooners and wedding celebrations.
Kuredu offers symbolic renewal-of-vows ceremonies rather than legally binding weddings. Couples can choose from settings including the Sangu sandbank, Dream Island and a yacht ceremony.
Couples celebrating their honeymoon can receive complimentary touches including chocolate macarons, a congratulations heart cake, bed decoration, sparkling wine and a compliments card. Eligibility and inclusions remain subject to Kuredu’s current honeymoon terms.
Kuredu has boutiques at Nika, Sangu and ‘O’ Resort, alongside shops at the dive centre, spa and golf club. Guests can browse beachwear, holiday essentials, accessories, Kuredu-branded collections, locally sourced keepsakes and gifts.
Location & Transfers
Kuredu sits on its own island in Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives. The island measures around 1,800 metres by 325 metres and covers approximately 57 hectares. From Velana International Airport, the seaplane transfer takes approximately 40 minutes. Guests can also request a 35-minute scheduled domestic flight to Madivaru Airport, followed by a speedboat transfer to Kuredu.

Resort Map
Kuredu is divided into three distinct areas: the Main Area for guests of all ages, ‘O’ Resort for guests aged 12 and above, and Sangu Resort for guests aged 15 and above. Each area has its own reception, while the Main Reception in the Main Area is open 24 hours.
Across the island, guests will find restaurants and bars, swimming pools, spa facilities, the Kids’ Club, dive and watersports centres, sports facilities, a clinic, a hyperbaric chamber, and designated swimming and snorkelling areas.
Drone Use: Drones may only be flown in designated areas and must be operated from the front jetty with prior permission from Main Reception.
Kuredu App and Wi-Fi: Guests are encouraged to download the Kuredu App before travelling, where they can complete their pre-arrival check-in using their booking details. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
