About the hotel

Set along a beautiful stretch of white-sand beach on Mexico's Riviera Maya, Iberostar Waves Paraiso Del Mar provides a relaxed all-inclusive stay surrounded by tropical gardens and native wildlife. Spacious rooms feature private balconies or terraces and are designed with comfort in mind. Multiple swimming pools, including family-friendly options, offer plenty of space to unwind, while direct beach access makes it easy to enjoy the Caribbean Sea.

The property’s dining is a highlight, with a choice of buffet and à la carte restaurants serving Mexican, Mediterranean, Japanese, Brazilian, and international cuisine. Several bars, including beach and poolside venues, provide refreshments throughout the day. A full programme of entertainment, live shows, and themed evenings keeps guests engaged after sunset.

Families are well catered for with Star Camp children's activities, a splash area, and organised games, while adults can enjoy the spa, fitness centre, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and non-motorised water sports. Golf enthusiasts also have access to the nearby 18-hole championship course. The resort forms part of the larger Iberostar Paraiso complex, allowing guests to enjoy a wide range of shared facilities, shops, and landscaped walking paths. Sustainability is a key focus, with initiatives to reduce single-use plastics and protect local ecosystems through the Iberostar Wave of Change programme. Its location also makes it convenient for visiting Playa del Carmen, ancient Mayan sites such as Tulum and Cobá, and the region's famous cenotes, making it an excellent base for a Caribbean holiday.
