You will be arriving at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. After that, you will be facilitated with your transfer to your Chicago hotel.

Today you get on your journey to witness the stunning mile of the famous Windy City. Start by heading to the corner of Michigan and Adams, which is the starting point of Historic Route 66.
On the way, first have coffee and a sumptuous breakfast at Lou Mitchell's, a famous Chicago institution operating since 1923. This is must do for travellers on Route 66.
Later, enjoy a series of fantastic experiences as follows - strolling at the lakefront, grabbing a Chicago Dog, bike the parks, and enjoy plenty of spectacular attractions such as Willis Tower, which is one of the tallest one in North America.
In the morning, pick up your designated rental car to begin this unforgettable journey along Historic Route 66. You will be travelling through the pure Americana landscapes, which comprise the country's most magnificent sites on the journey.
You will be traversing the journey by following the east-to-west path Route 66, which starts from Chicago to St. Louis, Missouri. On the route, pass through gorgeous cornfields and flat grasslands. On the route, you will visit the green Gemini Giant, which is the most photographed citizen and Atlanta’s Bunyan Giant, which is like a massive statue of Paul Bunyan holding a giant hot dog.
When you arrive at Springfield, you will stop at the Cosy Dog Drive-in, which is the birthplace of the corn dog. Enjoy a deep, meaningful time when you are exploring the legacy of Abraham Lincoln as you visit the Lincoln Home National Historic Site.
Once you arrive at St. Louise, which is the biggest city along the route, you can actually experience walking in the footsteps of legendary explorers as you visit the city’s historic sites found across the city. A major one among them is the Gateway Arch, which is the tallest monument in the city.

Further, continue your trip through Southern Missouri’s Ozark Highlands to Springfield, Missouri, which is the birthplace of Route 66.

This morning, you will be travelling through the southeastern part of Kansas as you travel on your way to Oklahoma City. On the route to Oklahoma City, you will be stopping by to witness the stunning 20-foot tall cement Blue Whale in Catoosa, a famous landmark along Route 66.
Once you arrive at Oklahoma City, the state’s capital, you have the option to check out various fantastic motels, gas stations, and beautiful vintage buildings on the old Route 66.

You will continue your journey to Amarillo. These are the pancake-flat plains of the Texas Panhandle. You will be stopping at the Route 66 Museum in Clinton. Witness the spectacular attractions here - Shamrock’s Tower Station and the U-Drop Inn Cafe.
Visit the first restored Philips 66 gas station in McLean. Later, when you are in Groom, enjoy viewing the renowned leaning water tower and a 150-ft-tall stainless steel cross. Once you arrive at Amarillo, you will stop at the famous Big Texas Steak Ranch, where you can take part in the 72 oz. Steak challenge.

Before you leave Amarillo, you will visit the unique Cadillac Ranch, which is a unique display of art of ten painted Cadillac cars.

In the morning, you will be entering the state of Arizona, where you will find plenty of displays of trading posts. Also, you will continue your journey to Petrified Forest National Park when you find huge concrete tepees.
When at the Kachina Point of the park, enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Painted Desert before you head to Hobrook. Once you arrive in Holbrook, you will stop at the fantastic Wigwam Motel.

You will continue your tour as you arrive at Meteor City, which is like a true vintage trading post that is observable from miles along the stretch.
You will stop at the beautiful college town of Flagstaff which is beautifully surrounded by Ponderosa Pine forest. Also, the town has several national monuments - Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, and Sunset Crater Volcano.
You will be traversing from the red rock canyons to majestic peaks (Mt. Humphreys). You will find plenty of wide open spaces to explore, Alternatively, you can visit the wonderful 127-year-old Lowell Observatory, the Home of Pluto, best stargazing experience before you proceed to Williams for the night.

On this day, you get ample time to explore the stunning natural wonder, Grand Canyon National Park. Enjoy some fun time discovering the unique South Rim of the Canyon.
You will be stopping at one of the numerous overlooks, you will be walking part of the Rim Trail or along the Hermit Road.
You will be visiting a Photo Hot Spot, climbing to the top of a grand Watchtower to witness spectacular views extending over 100 miles on clear days.
First, you will leave the town of Williams and the Grand Canyon behind. Take your way headed towards Seligman, which is the first stop as you further head west.
Your trip passes through Kingman, where you will find spectacular Old Route 66 cafes and models, and further to experience Arizona’s hidden treasures, Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam straddles the majestic Colorado River, which lies on the border of Nevada and Arizona.
From here, your trip continues to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Today, you get even more time to explore this beautiful city. You can take a day trip to the famous Red Rock Canyon or the amazing Zion National Park.
This morning, you will continue your journey through the Mojave Desert to Calico Ghost Town, which is like a real silver mining town in California.
Later, you will rejoin Route 66 in Barstow where you will find a collection of beautiful and historic photographs and artifacts along Route 66. For instance, at the Mother Road Museum, the Mojave Desert communities are on display.
After this, continue your trip to Santa Monica as you pass through Pasadena, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. Expect a classic Hollywood ending to this fantastic cross-country journey.
You will be passing through the last few blocks on foot to witness the famous “End of the Trail” sign on Santa Monica’s Pier. This is the western end of Historic Route 66.
