The Water Villa suits couples or a family travelling with one child who want to stay over the water. At 66 sqm, it includes a large furnished terrace, giving guests their own outdoor space while keeping the layout smaller than the Senior Water Villa.
The Sand Villa combines features of the Beach and Water Villas and gives guests easy ocean access. Its 66 sqm layout accommodates two adults and one child, making it suitable for couples or smaller families who prefer this setting to an overwater villa.
The 57 sqm Beach Villa is for travellers who would rather stay on the island than over the water. It accommodates two adults and one child and sits by the sandy shore and turquoise lagoon, with a sitting area and wooden terrace adding useful space beyond the sleeping area.
The Senior Water Villa is the larger overwater option, with 94 sqm of space for two adults and two children. It has a private wooden terrace with an ocean view and a sitting area, giving families more room indoors and outside than the standard Water Villa.
Senior Sand Villa offers the same 94 sqm size and four-guest capacity as the Senior Water Villa, but in the resort's sand villa collection. A private wooden terrace has an ocean view, and the sitting area provides extra space for families travelling with children.
Manta Restaurant is the resort’s main buffet venue and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dining area includes sand-floor sections and an overwater extension, giving it a relaxed island setting. Menus change by theme, with international dishes, Maldivian specialities and live cooking.
Alizée Restaurant is a smaller, à la carte dinner venue set a few metres from the sea beneath tropical palms. Its menu focuses on seafood, grilled fish and meats, with local fish, Wagyu beef, tuna and caviar among the choices highlighted by the resort.
Sandbank Experience takes breakfast, lunch or dinner away from the main restaurants and onto a private sandbank. The meal is served with sparkling wine, giving couples a quieter setting for a special meal during their stay.
Lagoon Breakfast is one of the dining experiences offered for honeymoon stays. Breakfast is arranged in one of the resort’s more secluded settings, giving couples a private way to start the day away from the main dining areas.
Moonlit Dinner is a private evening experience for couples, with a four-course menu, champagne and a private butler. It is designed for honeymooners or guests marking a special occasion during their stay.
Cinefushi combines an open-air film with food and drinks. Guests can have popcorn and ice cream, or choose an option with hors d'oeuvres and sparkling wine or cocktails.
Manta Bar sits next to Manta Restaurant and is the resort’s main evening bar. It has sand floors and open seating areas, with signature tropical cocktails, mocktails and other drinks available throughout the day and evening.
Totem Bar sits on the sand behind the pool, shaded by indigenous trees and finished with driftwood details. It serves fruit smoothies, iced teas and cocktails, alongside a daytime food menu of burgers, sandwiches and salads.
Constance Spa sits over the ocean and has six single treatment rooms and two double treatment rooms. Treatments include massages, facials and body therapies, with couple rituals also available. A yoga pavilion and shaded relaxation area add space to slow down before or after a treatment.
Yoga and meditation form part of the resort's weekly wellness programme. Guests can join group yoga sessions, book private classes or choose more advanced yoga programmes.
The resort has a swimming pool for guests who want an alternative to the lagoon and house reef. It provides an easy place to spend quieter periods between diving, snorkelling and other organised activities.
This 30 to 40-minute snorkelling trip visits a nearby reef. Depending on conditions, guests may see giant porcupine fish, Hawksbill turtles, orange Anthias, Napoleon fish and rays.
Diving is one of Constance Moofushi's strongest activities. The house reef begins just metres from the beach, while the current diving page lists 32 dive sites within half an hour of the resort. Underwater visibility is typically around 20 to 25 metres.
This speedboat excursion heads towards Maamigili Kandu at the southern end of the atoll in search of whale sharks. Sightings depend on season and conditions, and timings can change through the year.
From January to May, the resort runs a Dhoni Fexcursion in search of manta rays. If mantas are located and conditions are suitable, guests may have the opportunity to enter the water and snorkel nearby.
Guests can take part in coral restoration activities linked to the resort's marine conservation work. Constance Moofushi maintains coral nurseries and works with suitable coral fragments to support reef restoration.
Constance Moofushi has a dedicated collection of honeymoon experiences covering spa, dining and time on the water. Tailor your Honeymoon includes Couple Massage at Constance Spa, Lagoon Breakfast, Sunset Cruise, Moonlit Dinner, Cinefushi and Cooking Class.
Constance Moofushi offers beachfront wedding ceremonies and renewal-of-vows celebrations, with wedding packages available on request. The resort holds no more than one wedding per day.
The resort has fitness facilities with cardio equipment, free weights and strength machines. Official resort information also lists indoor and outdoor gym facilities.
Guests can explore the lagoon by Topcat catamaran, pedal boat, windsurf board or kayak. A compulsory orientation is required before using the Topcat catamaran.
Nurse Shark Adventure is a year-round speedboat snorkelling excursion focused on opportunities to see nurse sharks. The resort lists the trip twice a week, with its team taking photographs and videos during the experience.
A traditional Maldivian Dhoni takes guests onto the water for a sunset cruise, with sparkling wine and canapés served on board. Dolphins may sometimes be seen during the journey, although sightings depend on natural conditions.
The Local Village excursion visits the fishing community of Himandoo. The trip includes parts of the village such as the mosque area, open-air primary school, boat yard and main shopping street.
Private fishing trips include trolling, deep-sea jigging and spinning with an experienced Maldivian crew. The official factsheet lists sailfish, wahoo, dorado and blue, black and striped marlin among the species guests may target.
This private trip uses a traditional Dhoni and hand-reel bottom-fishing techniques. Guests head to local fishing areas around sunset and try a style of fishing linked to Maldivian tradition.
Private Boat Hire is listed among the resort's payable leisure options for guests who want to arrange time on the water privately.
An Entertainment Lounge is listed among the resort's leisure facilities. The complimentary activity programme also includes a pool table, darts, giant chess and table football.
Beach volley is included among the resort's complimentary sports and leisure activities and provides an easy way to stay active on the island.
The resort's marine conservation programme also includes presentations covering local marine life and sustainability. These sessions help guests understand more about the species found around Moofushi and the work being carried out to protect the reef.
Constance Moofushi is situated in the South Ari Atoll, Maldives. You will have to take a 35-minute seaplane ride to the resort from Velana International Airport, Male. There is a dedicated Constance lounge, which is available for all visitors before their departure.
Note: International arrivals after 3:30 p.m. may require an overnight stay in Malé, while departures before 9:00 a.m. Malé time require leaving the resort the previous night.
