The Dhoni Water Villa is the resort’s smallest accommodation, with its curved design inspired by a traditional Maldivian dhoni. Its curved shape takes its cue from a traditional Maldivian dhoni, while the split-level interior includes a generous living and lounge area.
The Dhoni Loft Water Villa keeps the curved dhoni-inspired design but adds a mezzanine master bedroom above the main living area. The split between the two levels gives couples more room and provides families with separate spaces for sleeping and relaxing.
The Loft Water Villa gives families a larger overwater layout with the en suite master bedroom set on a mezzanine. The sitting area below can also be used as sleeping space, allowing the villa to accommodate up to four guests, including up to three children.
The One-Bedroom Water Villa with Pool is designed for couples or small families who want a private pool as well as direct access to the ocean. These villas sit at the eastern end of the resort on a secluded private jetty and have their own entrance deck.
The Two-Bedroom COMO Sunrise Villa is arranged for families or friends who want to stay together while keeping their own bedroom space. The 300 sqm villa is divided into two separate wings, each with an en suite bedroom and its own private terrace. Shared living and dining areas connect the two sides.
The Two/Three-Bedroom COMO Sunset Villa is the largest accommodation at COMO Cocoa Island and is designed for larger families and groups. It combines a one-bedroom villa and a two-bedroom villa linked by a wooden walkway. The two sections can be booked together or separately, and the connecting walkway can be closed when guests want greater separation.
Ufaa is the resort's main restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating beside the pool and beach. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, making it the central dining venue throughout a stay. The food combines Indian and Mediterranean influences, with locally caught seafood, fresh farm-grown produce and dishes from COMO Shambhala Kitchen.The kitchen also uses a traditional tandoor for cooking seafood, meat and vegetables. COMO Shambhala Kitchen focuses on lighter, nutrient-rich dishes, with raw, steamed and grilled options forming part of the menu.
Private Dining covers a choice of meals away from Ufaa, with locations and set-ups arranged around the island. Options include beach and sandbank meals, in-villa dining and other private experiences, with menus for celebrations or special events discussed with the resort's chefs.
Sandbank Bliss takes guests away from the main island for a private meal on the sandbank with a dedicated butler. Four options are offered: Sunrise Sandbank Breakfast, Sandbank Dinner, Sandbank BBQ and Sandbank Picnic.
Tented Beach Dinner places a private table on the sand beneath a canvas tent lit by lanterns and traditional tiki torches. Guests dine from the daily à la carte dinner menu, with a dedicated butler looking after the meal.
Oysters at Sunset is set up on a private jetty with beanbags and lanterns. Oysters are served as the sun goes down, giving couples a quieter alternative to drinks at Faru Bar.
Villa Yakiniku Dinner is served in the privacy of the guest's villa. A flameless charcoal grill, food and equipment are supplied, allowing guests to cook a selection of meat, seafood and vegetables themselves. A selection of sake is also available.
Private Cooking Class is a hands-on food experience rather than a standard meal. Guests learn how to make a dish from the resort's restaurant menus or COMO Shambhala Cuisine, with recipes adapted to personal preferences where possible.
Floating breakfast is part of COMO Cocoa Island's private dining programme and is served in a guest's private pool or lagoon. It provides an alternative to having breakfast at Ufaa while keeping the meal within the privacy of the villa setting.
Faru Bar is the resort's poolside bar, with direct access to the beach. The drinks menu covers cocktails, mocktails and fine wines, alongside classic cigars and light snacks. It is an easy choice during a pool or beach day and for drinks later in the afternoon or evening.

COMO Cocoa Island sits on Makunufushi in South Malé Atoll, Republic of Maldives, around 30 km (19 miles) south of Malé. Guests travel from Velana International Airport (Malé) by speedboat in approximately 40 minutes, with the resort team meeting arrivals at the airport. No seaplane is required, making the onward journey straightforward after an international flight.
