In the morning, head early to Tortuguero National Park where you will be stopping for breakfast on the route - enjoy the scenic views as well as you’ll pass through a forest. In the morning, visit the unique Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges. The tour starts with you getting picked up at your hotel in the La Fortuna region. This day you will explore this stunning national park on a guided hike. Carefully look for brightly coloured macaws, toucans, sloths and groups of playful monkeys (the park is home to four species of monkeys that live in Costa Rica) all the while appreciating spectacular ocean views.

Find three trails with varying degrees of difficulty - flat to very steep. The path we will be taking is 3 km long, flat and easily accessible. You will be escorted by a naturalist guide who has expertise in the area and will explain the different animals and plants available on this tour. Once you reach the third beach, take a 20-minute break, sunbathe or you can dip in the ocean. During the tour, sight birds, sloths, and reptiles, and appreciate the beautiful orchids, butterflies, and tropical trees. Moreover, the guide carries Pentax and Swarovski telescopes allowing you to experience the wildlife better and take pictures from a new perspective. By the end, receive transportation back to the hotel.

The day is free at leisure.

Enjoy your breakfast and head to San José Airport for your flight back home. Alternatively, you have the option to extend your holiday by continuing your excursion south from Manuel Antonio to the beautiful Osa Peninsula.
