Today, you first relish your breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide in the hotel’s lobby and get on a scenic two-hour drive in Ninh Binh Province, also referred to as ‘Inland Halong Bay’.

On your way, you will visit Vietnam’s ancient capital of Hoa Lu. The site goes way back to the 10th century and is also the first centralised feudal state in the country. Discover the ancient temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties still present surrounded by rice paddies.

Have your lunch and continue your journey to Tam Coc, which is also known as the ‘Ha Long Bay on Land’. Here you will get on a two-hour slow journey through the winding river and canals. Witness the beautiful karst formations as your trip takes you through the three natural caves under the limestone hills.

After this, you visit Bich Dong Pagoda, which is home to a series of ancient temples that are built into hillsides, offering gorgeous spiritual splendour and spectacular views of the countryside.
