The Deluxe Garden Room suits couples and small families who prefer a garden setting. These 39 sqm rooms are in a two-storey building and have contemporary Balinese interiors, with either a private balcony or terrace overlooking the resort gardens.
The Deluxe Ocean Room is the same 39 sqm size as the garden category but adds views across the ocean and tropical garden. It is located in a two-storey building and has either a balcony or terrace for sitting outside.
The Deluxe Garden Bungalow works well for travellers who prefer single-level accommodation rather than a room in the two-storey building. Each 39 sqm bungalow looks towards the tropical garden and uses contemporary Balinese styling with wooden furnishings.
The Deluxe Ocean Bungalow combines the single-level bungalow layout with views across the ocean and tropical garden. At 39 sqm, it offers contemporary Balinese interiors and wooden furnishings in a setting separate from the resort’s main room buildings.
The Junior Suite Garden View increases the space to 52 sqm and looks towards the hill garden. These suites are in a four-storey building on the left side of the main resort and suit travellers who want more room than the Deluxe categories.
The Junior Suite Ocean View gives guests 52 sqm of space together with an ocean outlook. It is located in a four-storey building on the left side of the main resort and is suited to couples, families and friends who need more room than a Deluxe category.
The Luxury Ocean View Suite is a strong choice for couples who want more space and a private outdoor feature. At 70 sqm, the suite has a private balcony with a Jacuzzi overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The one-bedroom Luxury Pool Villa measures 265 sqm and gives guests their own private pool, garden and gazebo. The garden setting and private outdoor areas make it well suited to couples, families or groups who want more privacy during their stay.
The Two-bedroom Family Suite is designed for families and larger groups who need separate sleeping areas. It has two bedrooms and a shared living area, giving guests more space to spend time together without everyone staying in one room.
Ocean Terrace Restaurant is the resort’s main all-day dining venue, with views across the Indian Ocean. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, making it the most convenient choice for guests who want to eat at the resort throughout the day.
Basil Restaurant is a casual dining option overlooking the Indian Ocean. The menu is Italian-inspired with local influences, giving guests an alternative to the wider international choice at Ocean Terrace Restaurant.
Ombak Bar sits close to the main pool and is the resort’s main venue for casual drinks. Its menu covers local and imported spirits, beers, wines, cocktails, mocktails and tropical cocktails, with snacks also available.
Ocean Spa is the resort’s main wellness space, with panoramic ocean views and treatments focused on relaxation and wellbeing.
The Gym gives guests a dedicated indoor space for exercise and has a selection of fitness equipment and amenities.
The resort’s swimming pools give guests an easy place to spend quieter days between activities and excursions. The main pool area is also close to Ombak Bar, while some scheduled activities use the Infinity Pool Garden as their meeting point.
Morning Yoga is a complimentary guided session held at the Rooftop Pavilion on selected days of the week. The session gives guests a gentle way to start the day before breakfast or other resort activities.
Private Yoga offers a more personalised alternative to the complimentary scheduled group sessions and is available at an additional charge. Classes take place at the Rooftop Pavilion and can be tailored to the guest’s pace and level of experience.
The resort’s weekly activity programme combines movement, Balinese crafts, local food and cultural sessions. Guests can join a Morning Walk through Sengkidu, cycle through nearby villages, learn Balinese dance or take part in activities based around local plants, spices and traditional crafts.
Kids Activities give younger guests a mix of creative, food and outdoor sessions during the week. The programme includes Plants Detective, Kids Yoga, Fish Feeding, bracelet making, painting and paper kite making.
Land and Sea Activities focus on exploring the wider East Bali area. Kastala Trekking is around 30 minutes from the resort and passes countryside, farming areas and traditional irrigation systems. Tianyar Savannah is around 1.5 hours away and can be explored on foot or horseback.
The resort lists several East Bali sites for guests who want to learn more about local history, architecture and traditional crafts.
Water Purification Journey takes guests to two well-known water sites in Bali. Tirta Gangga is around 30 minutes away and is known for its gardens, pools and natural spring water, while Tirta Empul is around 1.5 hours away.
Culinary Journey introduces guests to local ingredients and traditional food production in East Bali. The experience includes Kusamba Salt Farming, around 20 minutes away, and Klungkung Traditional Market, around 30 minutes from the resort.
Balinese Traditional Village experiences introduce guests to local customs, architecture and craft traditions.
Temple Visit covers three important Balinese Hindu sites within driving distance of the resort.
The resort offers four wedding settings for celebrations of different sizes. The Spacious Wooden Terrace and Tropical Coconut Garden each accommodate up to 100 people, while the Rooftop Ocean View Pavilion accommodates up to 50.
The resort also caters for business meetings and group events. Its official meeting information includes presentations, brainstorming sessions and team-building activities, with support from event coordinators.
In-Room Dining is available to suite and villa guests who prefer to eat in their accommodation. Meals can be served inside a suite or villa, while villa guests can also dine on their pool deck.
Candi Beach Resort & Spa is at Mendira Beach, Sengkidu, Candidasa, Karangasem, Bali 80871. Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is around a 90-minute drive away, while Candidasa town is about five minutes by car. Airport greeting and hotel transfers can be arranged in advance. During the current coastal conservation works, the resort also provides a complimentary shuttle to Virgin Beach.
