Later, discover Siem Reap on foot, visiting the Main Shrine near the King’s Residence and learning about local worship traditions. Continue to the APOPO Visitor Centre to discover how HeroRATs are trained to detect landmines and support Cambodia’s ongoing demining efforts. Later, explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, admired for its grand scale, intricate bas-reliefs and distinctive towers. Please dress respectfully, covering shoulders and knees, when visiting the sacred Bakan Tower. Children under twelve cannot access the tower.

End the day with Phare, The Cambodian Circus, an energetic performance combining theatre, music and acrobatics while supporting social and educational programmes for young Cambodians.

Travel overland from Siem Reap to Battambang, stopping en route at Preah Netr Preah District to see local Cambodian families creating intricate stone and wood carvings.
