Holidays with Air India

Air India flies non-stop from London Heathrow to Delhi, with several departures a day, and to Mumbai, each in roughly ten hours. The airline operates a daily service from Heathrow to Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad is served from Gatwick. All these routes operate in both directions, and onward connections through Delhi and Mumbai reach Amritsar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata and Goa.

On the Delhi–Heathrow route, Air India flies Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft with Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. Complimentary meals are served on international flights, and special meals can also be requested at least 24 hours before departure. Business Class offers fully flat beds on eligible aircraft, premium amenities and lounge access where available. Business Class travellers may check in two bags of up to 32 kg each. In Premium Economy, two bags of up to 23 kg each are included. Economy Value fares include one bag of up to 23 kg, while Classic and Flex fares include two bags of up to 23 kg each. Baggage allowances may vary by fare and route, so please confirm yours when booking. Online check-in opens 48 hours before departure and closes two hours before. At Heathrow, Air India flies from Terminal 2, and check-in closes 75 minutes before departure. The airline recommends arriving at the airport around three hours before departure.
