The first half-day tour is for Rattanakosin Island, located at the centre of Bangkok. Start with Wat Pho, a Buddhist temple which has the status of ‘Royal Monastery’ (Wat Luang). See the famous Reclining Buddha. Here you can drop coins meditatively into the bowls which is believed to bring good fortune. A massage service centre is available here on-site where you get one for an additional cost.

Further, walk towards The Grand Palace, a beautiful complex of royal and religious edifices. Continue exploring by visiting the Emerald Buddha, which is 66 cm in height and sits in a state of meditation. Then, visit Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, one of the most attractive buildings in the complex. Head to Dusit Maha Prasat Hall. Various other attractions are present including a model of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia; unique statues, including The Demon Guardians who are believed to guard the Emerald Buddha from demon spirits, and a hermit figure.
