In the morning, embark on a 2-hour private ranch walk of the Toucan Rescue ranch which is an ideal tour for families. In this educational activity, learn about the various animals and their rescue stories (of macaws, parrots, sloths, spider monkeys, etc.). Learn about the importance of conservation and various interesting facts about rainforest wildlife. In the afternoon, you are free to spend time at leisure and explore the area.

In the morning, set off early for your journey to La Fortuna via Sarchi in the San Carlos lowlands. It will take around 4.5 hrs which comprises an educational activity on the route i.e., Oxcart Painting - meeting an authentic local artisan who will provide you with interesting information regarding various painting techniques and styles.

Located in an ideal travel location between La Fortuna town and Arenal Lake, Arenal Springs Resort & Spa provides a comfortable stay experience. Wildlife Safari Float - On this day, enjoy the Wildlife Safari Float tour which provides you with the option to enjoy the tranquillity of Costa Rica’s rainforest and soak in the sights and sounds of the tropical setting. Watch for monkeys, iguanas, caimans, Jesus Christ lizards (can walk on water), and diverse colourful bird species. A naturalist guide will be there with you who will share the history and knowledge of the plants and animals which you are likely to come across on the float. Spend 2 hours on a relaxing paddle pace exploring the riverbanks. When the float trip finishes, make a stop at one of the riverside farms and enjoy a locally prepared snack and a cup of coffee before returning.

Note: it is recommended to take quick dry clothing, sunscreen, sunscreen, water shoes (no flip flops), camera, binoculars, and insect repellants, for best experience.

Night Experience & Costa Rica - Begin your journey to the small town of La Tigra which is located around 30 minutes from La Fortuna town till you arrive at a small family project which is responsible for reforestation and protection of wild flora and fauna in their habitat. When you are on the property, enter a regenerating forest once you follow a 1-kilometre path having water-mirrors helping with the sightings of nocturnal birds and animals.

At the end of the walk, enjoy a delicious typical Costa Rican dinner which is prepared on a wood-burning stove. Once you are done with the meal, get transferred back to your La Fortuna accommodation.

Today you enjoy the spectacular views of Arenal Volcano and also have a memorable rainforest experience - discover the ancient secrets of chocolate from the time of its discovery and its use in tropical America to the processing till the final product arrives. The 2-hour tour will provide you with various interesting facts about cacao and chocolate.

In the morning period, get transferred to Lake Arenal to take the boat crossing from La Fortuna to Monteverde. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure. The place is famous for its gorgeous landscapes, abundant wildlife and various conservation efforts.

Monteverde Lodge and Gardens

Stay in one of the 31 guest rooms that are dotted with designer gardens attached to a private cloud forest reserve which is populated by exotic local wildlife. Enjoy relaxing in a nice bar setting around an open fireplace at the hotel. As for dining, relish traditional Costa Rican and international dishes prepared with local ingredients.

You will walk through 8 bridges of varying lengths - 170 ft and 560 ft for Selvatura’s Treetop Walkways. These bridges are beautiful points to admire the Cloud Forest. Every bridge is 5 ft wide with a capacity of a maximum of 80 people.

Continue your tour further into one of the largest butterfly gardens (300 ft long, 90 ft wide, and 50 ft tall) in America. Within the garden, there's a beautiful dome structure which does temperature control in the garden. Guides accompanying you will provide answers to the questions regarding wildlife or anything else for that matter.

In the morning, have a nice breakfast before you check out at the hotel. Meet our driver at the lobby for your transfer to Papagayo.

El Mangroove, Autograph Collection is the closest beach resort to an international airport within Costa Rica which is just a 20-minute drive away. Here you have the option to enjoy various activities like sailing, sport fishing, and scuba diving. Several dining options, including a nice seafood restaurant, are located near the resort property.

In the morning, start with a nice morning excursion into the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, where you will meet your driver at the hotel lobby. You will drive for a few minutes to the private reserve and find several trails at the site. You have the option to walk to the panoramic viewpoint of La Ventana to experience the natural contrast visible at the Continental Division. Soak into the gorgeous north winds descending at great speed towards the Central Pacific and the coastal plains of northern Costa Rica.

Today’s experience has been designed according to the multigenerational families - as per your activities and rhythm. Activities included (to be chosen on the day) - fishing, snorkelling, whale & dolphin watching, tubing and water skiing (equipment is also included).

The complete tour experience lasts for 4 hours and includes boat transportation from/to the hotel, water bottles, beverages (beer or a bottle of wine), and wraps (chicken, meat, veggies, etc.). Kids box (apple or banana, yoghurt, cookies, peanut and jelly sandwiches).
