Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 years to complete this ' Love Poem in Marble' later return to hotel for breakfast, After breakfast visit the impressive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the finest Mughal forts in India. It was built in 1565 and was the main residence of four generations of influential Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. It contains a maze of buildings, forming a city within a city, including vast underground sections, though many of the structures were destroyed over the years. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques.
After Lunch proceed for Kuchpura Tourist Village walk, Kachhpura offers a Mughal Heritage Walk with an experience of the Mughal era with its “NATURAL AND RUSTIC SETTING” View of rare “RICH
ARCHITECTURAL HERIATGE” and feel of the “LIVING TRADITIONS”. The youth from the community, trained as tour facilitator, provide both historical facts and anecdotes. Experience the Kachhpura tourist village and explore some lesser known monuments in the shadow of the Taj and Red fort.
Village takes you through narrow bridle path though agriculture fields take visitors into the ancient village of Kachhpura, associated with the history of Taj Mahal.Kachhpura village was originally the property of the Hindu King of Kachh, Raja Maan Singh; who also owned the lands on which Taj Mahal stands. According to the Shahjahan-Nama, Emperor Shahjahan compensated Raja Maan Singh with four huge palaces to acquire the site for building the Taj Mahal as a memorial to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Finally finishing the walking tour at Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight garden) followed Tea & Pakora (Snacks).
