You can visit Nizwa Fort, a 17th-Century structure that remains the largest of its kind in the Arabian Peninsula. The fort's cylinder-shaped main tower sets it apart from any other fort in Oman, while its interior holds many intriguing exhibits and artefacts. Having taken a total of twelve years to build, Nizwa Fort is linked to a city castle via a handful of intricate corridors.

Once finished exploring the fort, head outside to visit Nizwa Souk, a traditional market that sells traditional wares, as well as the renowned Bedouin silver.
