From our expert

  • Nestled along the border of Sri Lanka’s fabled Yala National Park.
  • Rustic and luxurious resort that puts you in the heart of Sri Lanka’s safari experience.
  • We adore the Beach Chalet which overlooks the beautiful untouched beachfront.
  • Wine and dine at three exciting bars and restaurants, or enjoy a bush dinner under the stars.
  • Swim a few laps in the large swimming pool or indulge in a relaxing massage at Azmara Spa.
  • Get up close with Sri Lanka’s incredible wildlife with a jeep-led safari through Yala.
  • We recommend twinning Sri Lanka with a trip to The Maldives, as it’s only a 1-hour flight away.

Best Time To Travel

Sri Lanka has a very diverse weather pattern due to two monsoons that strike different coastlines, however this does mean that there is always a good time to visit at any given point. December to March is the best time to visit the west and southern coasts, while April to September are better for the eastern coast, and the interior hill country is best visited between December and March.
