The Gili Islands sit just north-west of Bali and are made up of three small islands; Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.
Each island stands apart from the last, boasting their own characteristics and landscapes, which, when combined, make a fantastic island hopping holiday. Gili Trawangan offers both quiet and peaceful coastlines, as well as bustling nightlife and fantastic restaurants. Gili Meno offers the most seclusion and exclusivity, boasting untouched beaches and discreet coves, while Gili Air is almost like a smaller version of Gili Trawangan!
Although each island benefits from distinctive differences, they all boast picture-perfect beaches and tropical interiors that make all of them fantastic places to visit, no matter what type of traveller you are. Honeymooners will absolutely adore Gili Meno’s secluded shorelinesand luxury boutique hotels, while couples and families will love exploring Gili Trawangan’s leafy jungles and relaxing along the lively golden sands of its popular and picturesque beachfronts.
The rainy season generally sits between November and April in the Gili Islands, therefore it’s mostly hot, dry and sunny from May to October.
